How to call a javascript function from an aspx page?

Hi !

A simple question. Which is the right way to call a javascript function into an aspx page?
Now I do it thus:

<form id="form1" onSubmit="return valForm1()" runat="server">
</form>

But I think that is not correct. Isn' t it?

it is right.

your aspx code is executed on the server & java script code on the client.
<form id="form1" onSubmit="return valForm1();" runat="server">
</form>
