That is the place I would start first.
You should NOT be using a DSN that was created using the Oracle ODBC
Driver. Create a new DSN that uses the iAnywhere Solutions 8 - Oracle
8, 8i & 9i driver.

PB 11 / Oracle 10 DB --Oracle error - ORA-01722
Recently, I have migrated our PB application from 6.5.1 to the PB 11 version. The application is using PB Oracle 10 native drivers to communicate with Oracle 10 database. We had to migrate to the PB 11 because the Oracle Client 8.5 (used with the PB 6.5.1) was not able to connect anymore to the Oracle 10 database, after the Oracle patch was installed in July 2007. Anyway, after all application=92s PCs were upgraded with the Oracle Client 10 and the new PB 11 application was installed, the app was periodically crashing on different application processes with the same =93ORA-01722 =96 ...

Ora 8 Native vs odbc
I've got a datawindow I'm using for multitable updates. This datawindow update works fine under oracle ODBC drivers, but crashes miserably under the native driver. I'd like to go with an oracle native solution as I get quite a performance increase over ODBC. I can't sacrafice functionality to do so, however... What version of PB, Oracle, sqlnet/net8, whic...

Ora 8 native vs ODBC
I've got a datawindow I'm using for multitable updates, deployed to EAS 3.6.1 (I'm using the PFC multitable update service directly from PFC 7.0.3 release ported to EAS). This datawindow update works fine under oracle (MS) ODBC drivers, but crashes miserably under the native driver (EAS dies with a debug output, press return to continue, etc.). By adding log messages to the server log, I know which table/update is failing under the native driver (second table out of 3, the first works correctly), but I don't know how to resolve the problem.
