Change of Table Owner in SQLAnywhere 5.5
We are using a database with some "user" tables created and currently
owned by the DBA account. Since we would to create additional users and
let them login and access the tables without specifing the "DBA." prefix
to access the tables.
While we have tried to use the "group" feature in SQLAnywhere so avoid
the required prefix, we found that we could not make "DBA" to be a group
and cannot use this method directly.
We are wondering if there is a way to change the owner of the tables
etc. to a new group so that we can implement the changes. ...Did the temp table functionality change from SQLAnywhere 7.0 to 9.0?
Did the temp table functionality change from SQLAnywhere 7.0
For example, within a stored procedure in version 7.0, we
used the following:
if @VARIABLE = 11
create table #emp_plan (org smallint null,
emp integer null,
cnt integer null,
role smallint null)
error checking logic
if @VARIALBE = 11
insert into #EMP_PLAN
...Trigger for logging table changes into a log table
I'm looking for a little code for a trigger, which logs changes in a table
in another log table, like this:

In tab_customer_log a record should be generated like this:
modification = 'lastname changed from MLLER to LORENZ'
modificator = 'o_lorenz'

This is not a supported feature. So pay attention to what you do.

...From Table to Table
I am working in Delphi 4 and ran into a roadblock I am unfamiliar with. I am trying to search and find values in one table based off of matching values in another. For example a table of objects with fields like name, description, type, ect; and a table of object properties in which each object can be represented multiple times based on the settings on the page at the time. So if i search the object property table (and eventually loop through to repeat for all objects) to find all cases of visible objects
when a certain criteria is met. It stops on the first object with "Yes" in th...Proxy-Table question

many thank's for help
I think you have to drop and re-create the proxy table. CREATE

Bit random...but why does everything have to be rendered as a table? It's starting to get quite annoying.
Formview - does this need to be a table? the Menu?? Wouldn't it make sense to allow the option to...say...not render a Menu as a table? Am I the only one that thinks this or are there others?
You can use CSS Adapters to create your own adapters to override how the controls render it self. In the next version of ASP.Net, you will probably have more flexibility to specify the surrounding elements of th...String changes without entity changes (bug 849633 and in general)

In bug 847181, I landed a bunch of editorial corrections to the
diagnostic messages associated with a class of XPCOM error codes. I say
"editorial corrections" because the meaning of the *codes* (whose
symbolic names are reused as the entity names for the diagnostics) has
not changed; the English diagnostics, however, were badly written to the
point of being completely wrong in one case. I ten...What generals generally do
