Item Validation Error Using ImportFile for XML

I'm trying to use the PowerBuilder ImportFile function to
import an XML file into an external datawindow. However,
there appears to be some sort of size limit that is causing
me to receive invalid "Item validation" errors. After a
certain number of records or rows (4,452 in this case), I
start receiving "Item validation error on IMPORT. Continue
IMPORT?" on every field that it tries to import. The data is
valid, and in some test cases, identical to previous
records/rows that imported successfully. The problem seems
to be with the record/row count.

Is this a size limit problem, or a bug in the ImportFile
function for XML? If so, is there a way to work around it? I
can use ImportFile to import the same data in a .CSV file,
and it imports every last record, so it's apparently
something to do with the XML feature.

Have you tried FileReadEx( ) followed by ImportString( )?

I'm importing GML files containing many GIS objects. (GML: XML for GIS)
The largest files I've had in my hands so far are:
    A: 1.5 MB approx 1390 objects (rows)
    B: 4.5 MB approx 3900 objects (rows)

Because of the XML schema's structure we actually read a file into a string
variable then cut the string into pieces including an unbounded array of
"imcomplete" GIS objects and a set of common XML elements. We then create
the "complete" GIS objects one by one and process each GIS object
individually.
ls_Complete_Object = (some common elements) + GIS_object[ i ] + (more common
elements)

I guess that's why we don't see any size issues because we do
ImportString( ) on one row at a time ;-)

Is there a way to validate an XML file that is made up by including several other XML files using an XML schema?     Yes, you need to set the included schemas with XmlSchema.Includes property. XML in, XML out
Hi All (and a happy holiday to those that will get a break), I am trying to read in an XML file of addresses. I need to remove all the address data from the file where code =~ /^000/ (there are none in the example data below). I need to reproduce that data 'as is', so I need to honour the tag structure, although the order of the tags doesn't need to be honoured. I have been trying to use XML::Simple and I had a go with XML::Smart but I haven't been able to get the results I want. My best effort is below (with XML::Simple). There are a couple of differences ...
