PB9 CRASH - open a new window in window open event

the pb9 application crash, when i a new window (windowtype response) in the
open event from a sheet window opened!

the pb8 has not this effect happen!

Try replacing the open with a postevent( "ue_new_event" )
and placing the open in the "ue_new_event" code.  This will allow the open
event complete and the sheet be displayed with the response window on top of
the sheet.

Have you done a PBDEBUG trace to identify which line of Powerscript it
blows up on? 

Generally, opening a window from another window's open event is not
the best thing, and often doesn't produce the desired results. Because
the first window is still in the process of instantiation, Windows has
problems figuring out who the parent is (and often ends up being
something you don't plan). It's a far better practice to open the
second window after the open of the first window is completed, in some
posted event.
