Changing font size

I would like to reduce the size of the fonts on all of my windows and
data windows from 12 to 10.

I used ACCUFONTS when developing on the PC so that the port to the Mac
would look more or less the same as the PC. Well this doesn't seem to
be the case. At least not with PB 6.0.

All of the 12 point characters are much too large to fit in the objects
that get created on the Mac. I'd like to know if there is a way to
change all of the font sizes without going through every window.

Any Ideas?

My suggestion would be to write a quick, little application that will
export all your objects, search the exported code for the font sizes (you
will have to check the exported code to see how PB encodes the font size
for datawindow objects and other object controls), and then make the
appropriate changes. Some functions you may want to take a look at are
LibraryDirectory, LibraryExport, and LibraryImport.

I have done something similar in the past. One problem that I
encountered, was that the LibraryExport function exports an object into a
string variable. I used this function in PB4, and the string data type did
not allow enough storage for the object code of some very large objects
that I had. However, I vaguely recall hearing somewhere that the amount of
text that the string data type can hold has been increased, so this may not
be a problem for PB5 and up. Anyhow, give it a shot, and good luck.

You may want to try a product by Greenbrier and Russel called Object Smith.
This has a global replace application which you could replace all your
font.pitch to the correct number for datawindows and textsize for windows.
Point your browser to www.gr.com .

LibraryImport() only works for datawindow object so you will not be able to
import other objects programmatically. If you don't mind importing these
object manually this is a good solution. If you want to automate this
process, you will have to use ORCA to write you app or buy a product that
will do this.

changing default font size does not affect font size on form buttons and input fields.
Hello, in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=305109 I propose that changing the default font size in Preferences should also change the font sizes for form controls. On windows it works this way. Concerning Unix, though, the form controls keep their size, even if you adjust the default font size in Firefox preferences. This makes for ugly form controls if you do not adjust your GTK settings along with your Firefox default font size. But there is a workaround: you can also make Firefox scale the form controls by applying the following changes to 'font:' li...

Cannot change the font or font size of PicButtn ocx.
Hello, I am using PB 6.5.1 Enterprise for Win32. I inserted a PicButtn ocx control into a window and changed the font and font size using the OLE Control Properties button on the OLE Custom Control window. I saved and closed the window. When I re-opened the window the picbuttn ocx font and font size had changed back to their initial settings. I believe this is a standard OCX, and it with PB, although I am not positive. I was not able to locate an associated help file. Then name of the OCX is PicButtn.OCX, dated 9/24/96 11:54am. It was located in the Windows/System dir...

Change font/font size in Seamonkey2.0
Hi, up to now i run SM1.1.18 under eCS2.0RC6a and tried to see how SM2.0 is usable for me. I am disappointed concerning windows display. The font size used are to large to describe the buttons and all other stuff including contents of some windows. My old window size is mostly to small to keep the text. The used times roman font is also not my favorite. My question is: how can i modify or add which statements to about:config to adapt SM2.0 to look like SM1.1.18. Thanks and have a nice day. how to make Font.Size subproperty to change the text size of all the child controls
I have a control that is used to get a date (dropdown calendar) and is made up by a label and three dropdownlists. I overrided the Enabled property so when it is true/false all of the child controls are Enabled/Disabled. That was easy. But now I need to change the text size of the composite control. When I do that, only the text size of the label changes. If the size would be a property of the WebControls that would be easy. Just override it and that's it. But size is a subproperty of Font. How can I make it work ? Any help is appreciated...

With my vision not being too great, I'd like it to default to say 120% or even 150%. I do have the Accessibar, but it would still be nice for the browser to default to a larger font size.
