Can't get dw_1.Object.Data[row] for a row > 32768
Is anyone aware of a problem with passing a row greater than MAX(integer) (32768) to dw_1.Object.Data[row]? I would appreciate a response. Jameel Abdo MCI Systemhouse.

I understand that PB5 didn't support object notation for more than 32K rows. It was supposed to be fixed in PB6 (although I haven't confirmed it in PB6, myself). The object notation tended to be a tad flakey in PB5 too (poor null handling, etc.). Many developers decided to stick with the GetItem, SetItem in PB5 to avoid these problems. Hi.. I was wanting to use the IE Web Controls, the Tab Strip, etc, and play with it.. Since I have IIS 5, I thought I'd copy them there using the Read me.txt instructions and then copy to a dev server that I use at a web host.. I've got a linkbutton I click, which (in an update panel) posts back, queries a database for values, then searches the controls in another updatepanel and updates their Text fields with that data....that part works great. I then have a master button (not in an update panel) which is supposed to query those same controls, and concatinate the Text values. This is the part which doesnt work when I click the LinkButton...however if I just manually enter the values then click the master, I get all my text. I installed IM65 today to give it a try. I made a db config to our local ASE 11.9.2 engine via Sybase' odbc driver that came with 11.9.2. I start a new report, tell it to be tabular and to get data from a SP. It asks which SP and I tell it. The result is an odbc error: Cannot create DataWindow Intersolv SQL ODBC driver: Incorrect syntax near '='. 1 execute dbo.sp_si_addressbest_;0 RETURN_VALUE = :RETURN_VALUE' I can execute the SP fine from SQL Advantage or from Crytal Reports.
