I understand that there's some confusion about whether or not perl5.git
is open and available for changes.
While the date and version number of the next release are still under
review and discussion, we intend to have a stable release no later than
the usual schedule. I also want to clarify that we do not intend to have
*any* stable release until we have high confidence in it. We will also
be releasing development versions every month until we have a clearer
picture of the future.
In the meantime, all the normal development work that would normally be
happening with Perl can and should go on. Please submit, review, apply,
and enjoy changes like you would've been doing a year ago.
