P.S. We surely want to support this exciting project and we are ready to
provide developers with a license for a few months.

I can't say I'm particularly enamoured of the tone of the article and,
after a skim I'm fairly sure that some of the errors aren't, but equally
there are probably some real findings here.

I reviewed the list and applied changes for most of the reported issues.
Some of the recommended fixes break the build.
