Spam links on http://datetime.perl.org Wiki

This probably isn't the correct place to report this, but I can't find
a contact on the website.

Spam links are being added to Wiki pages, e.g.

I don't think there's any way I can revert these edits as a standard
user. Happy to assist if appropriate, but at the moment I don't think
there are any real barriers to anonymous users making edits?

Kind regards

Datetime to xsd:datetime
Dear all, i need to create a datetime variable with this format: "2003-02-04T13:58:59.9999999+03:00"? i need the variable in Datetime format not string format.. Thanks. Cisatlantic: Dear all, i need to create a datetime variable with this format: "2003-02-04T13:58:59.9999999+03:00"? i need the variable in Datetime format not string format.. Thanks. So what's the problem?  If you declare a variable as a datetime it will serialize in the above format automatically, and the calling objects will treat it as a date when it receives it. no problems, it worked, thanks...

ole datetime to any to pb datetime
hi, I'm having a bit of a problem with PB and an OLE server that we use. The server is written in C++ and conforms to all rules for an OLE server. Mostly it works fine it just that it just doesn't seem possible to get a datetime back to PB. The OLE object returns data of a 'variant' type, this is assigned to an any variable. This any variable is then converted to a datetime. All we get back then is the date, it skips the time portion. We have tried doing the same thing in both VB and Perl and it works fine. It would appear that PB doesn't support datetime in the s...

DateTime -> MSSQL -> DateTime
Hi All,This is only my second day using C#/asp.net and English isn't my native language so I'll apologise in advance if this question doesn't make sense and/or is stupid . I'm trying to make a little event planner which was going well until I hit a small problem, the user needs to enter the event name and choose a date/time from dropdowns, this bit works okay... however I'm having difficulties with storing the date/time, at the moment I'm making a DateTime object and filling out the year/month/day/hour/minute selected on the form and adding that to the database field ...

DateTime::Event::Recurrence and DateTime::Set

As a side-effect, any DT::Event module that inherits DateTime::Set (v.0.02 or later) gets these for free: previous / current / next / closest intersects / contains as_list / iterator union / intersection / complement - Flavio S. DateTime::Format::Pg and DateTime+DBI
I know we've got ::Format::MySQL out there, but I use PostGreSQL .. has anyone started ::Format::Pg yet? If not I'll do it in the morning (should be about five minutes work AFAICT!) -also- As we have at least one DBI Guru here, are there any plans to get DBI to return DateTime objects for Date/Time fields? If not should there be? Or should we look at creating DBD::Pg-DateTime etc? I for one would be turning every date field from the database into a DateTime object and it would be great if it could be handled by DBI/DBD. Cheers! Rick -- -------------------------...

Converting Sql DateTime to C# DateTime
Is there a quick and easy way to convert a DateTime value retrieved from a SQL 2005 query to a C# DateTime datatype?I can change my query to use sql's datepart function to return separate YYYY, MM and DD values and then use the right constructor to create a C# DateTime datatype but I'm just wondering if there's some C# method that will do the conversion for me. Thanks.  If the column in SQL is declared as a datetime then it is real easy to convert it to a .NET datetime object.e.g.lets assume you have a datarow which is a record retrieved from the database and the datetime ...

DateTime::Set and DateTime::Span stuff
Hi All, I am currently working on generating reports using an Ingres Database(yes, boring) but have come across some issues that I have noticed. One thing I needed to do was generate a start and end dates for the report (yes, using DateTime) no problem :-) So I did it as a DateTime Set object (initially) again no problem. But then I needed to compute the number of days between these two dates. OK, I checked the FAQ and the only thing I found was 6.12 which is incomplete. OK, I checked the datetime archives and found a solution from flavio but is used span objects No problem I ju...

RFC: DateTime::Event::DateTime (or something)
--============_-1153868291==_============ Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" ; format="flowed" Attached is DateTime::Event::DateTime. No tests, no docs. This module is a very basic event module. Given parts of a datetime it can return the following, previous and closest datetime object. The module was inspired by Ben Bennet who at 8:01 PM -0400 13/7/03, wrote: >I vote that you assume the next valid instance of the time (e.g. if >they say 4 o'clock and it is 11 PM now, assume 4AM of the following >day). DateTime::Event::Recurrence and DateTime::Set questions
I'm experimenting with the Recurrence and Set logic. Pretend that the ranges provided below are arbitrary (more sparse, or not). Other than Set::Infinite complaining about backtracking too deeply, what is supposed to happen in the following cases: my %Targets = ( months => [1 .. 12], days => [1 .. 31], hours => [0 .. 23], minutes => [0 .. 59], ); # What's this do? You can't have durations smaller than your # increment unit, right? $set1 = DateTime::Event::Recurrence->yearly(%Targets); # How about this? Durations larger than unit incre...

DATETIME
Hey, I've created a regular expression (for a textbox input) which forces a string which is in the form of a DATETIME (27/11/2003 6:25:38 PM) I then attempt to sent it to my database (through a stored procedure), but I get this error: CS0029: Cannot implicitly convert type 'string' to 'System.DateTime' Now. I have stored the DateTime in a TextBox before, (readonly) and had no trouble sending it back to the database. I know it string will be in the correct form, how can I convince the parser that it will be? Is there a way to some how convert a String to DATETIME, some...
