Hello All !I've used the new localization fetaures in asp.net 2.0 to localize my website, ... Well it works great.I'm using localResources for almost all my text to translate, only the labels of my sitemap are in a globalResources file.Everything is fine but now I was wondering how to easily put my images (like banners, logo, etc ...) to be localized as well ! The Resx files can embed various types : strings, images, files, sounds ... So I suppose there is a way to do with images the same as I do with strings...I Mean : when I want to put a localized text on my page, I can use man...Localize Images

I have seen a lot of posts and sites about localizing strings in resx files in the App_GlobalResources folderbut you can store images in that file also, but I don't know how to reference those images in code so they change when I change the culture.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Hello.the process of adding the images is the same. i guess that you're not seeing any examplex because there's no HTML control (or asp.net control) that I can think of that is able to show the stream of bytes saved on the resx file (it seems like all the controls that show images are only able to receive a p...Imaging, but not imaging
We multicasted to 43 machines. Updated the image on the master.
Multicasted the updated image to 36 machines. (the other 7 wouldn't join
the session for some unknown reason). I visually verified that all 36
were imaging. One of the 8 which didn't rename appears to not even have
been imaged. The problems with the previous image were still there. It's
as though the machine didn't image even though I saw it take part in the
session and the temp bar going across the screen.

I am trying to display a page that has image of a map on it. The user can then place other images of red thumbtacks on the image at different locations. Then when these thumb tacks are clicked on, they open a folder of pics related to the area.
I saw a method in the imageButton class that returns the (x,y) of the location where the user clicked. I thought I could use this information to place another, smaller image button, on that area. My problem is that i can't seem to get the bottom imageButton to be transparent so I can see the smaller one. Am i on the right track with this. Any advice would be appricated. I have a project where clients viewing my website can buy t-shirts. They can choose from a number of t-shirt colors and shapes which are their plain colour.
They can also choose a number of prints to be placed on the t-shirt. These will be graphics stored in a database. My problem is on how I can displaty the t-shirt with the graphics or logo they chose on te t-shirt.
It would be something like drawing text on an image but instead drawing an existing image on the base image.

I am using a localize website, that knows which language to select according to the "Languages" properties of ms windows.
What I would like to do is to enable users switch languages without having to change the "Languages" default properties.
Let's say I will have a flags, and each time user will click on a flag, the language will be change.
I guess that there will be a need to save the user language in cookies or something.
Thanks for any advice.

Where do I store images that I can use in my website?? I added an imagebox (visual studio 2005) and tried to set the URL, but I only get a default location and app_data. Where do I put images that I can access them? Thanks!
Normally, you would create an Image folder within your website's directory. This way you can upload the complet folder of images to your webserver. To access the images, you will want to use a reletive link for example ../images/image1.jpeg. for each directory you need to go up add another "../" to get to the image. ...Image localization problem

I'm having problems creating an image button, that when pressed will change the forms culture. This appears to work ok for a listbox and ordinary button. And it also works ok if I don't specify an image for the image button. This is the code from the whenbutton click:-
