Removing NDPS printer object - NDPS Manager

Having trouble with a NDPS printer. I can't run NDPS Manager because
it
hangs on initializing the printer. Can I delete the NDPS printer
object
and see if the NDPS manager comes up? I know that deleting the object

only makes it a public access printer but will it let the manager boot
up
at least. Your help would be appreciated, thanks!

Making the printer a public access printer makes no difference
regarding the manager. he will still try to load the agent.
How about restoring the ndps backup ?
See this TID that descibes the steps.

iprint clent (5.64 and 5.68) on Win 7 (32 and 64 bit) removes the ability to view remote printers in Windows explorer via "View remote printers" if you have opened the server-object in Network
See subject. I just discovered this as I wanted to look into the properties of printers on several workstations and a Samba/Cups print server. If I unistall the iprint client it immediately starts to work. As soon as the client is installed you see no printers if you click on "View remote printers" . That only applies to Win7, on WinXP I did not see that behaviour (WinVista I don't use and my Win2008 server has no iprint client installed). Anybody else noticed that already? -- W. I have a quick question. I need to add a group to the manager role for all of my printer objects at 6 sites. Is there a way to do this to many print objects at one time, or do I need to visit each print object individually? There are bout 100 printer objects in 6 containers. Thanks! Printers Agent lost Printer object details
Hi, we have recently moved some printers from one NDPS Manager to another and have developed some problems. Most of the printers came across ok, but some have now appeared in both the new and the old ndpsm screen and since have lost some details. We have since manually tried sorting this out by deleted and restoring the databse form the NDS and moving the printers again. This has worked to the point where we can get the gateway to do a test print to the printer, but nobody can connect to them. We have traced the problem back to the section in NDPSM when you enter a printer, goto i...

Deleted printer agents do not remove printer from workstation?
When we remove/delete printer agents from iPrint Manager, the iPrint printer is not deleted from the workstation. (you just get an "error" in the column for the status). We are using "shortened" names. I see TID #3264541 that says this is a bug, but that was almost a year ago. We're at iPrint 4.34 client. All OS's are affected (Win2K, WinXP). NetWare 6.5 SP6 with post patches modules and latest iPrint patches. Did you post the wrong TID number? TID3264541 does no0t in any way seem to describe your problem. It rather refers to iPrint not rein...
