How do I get get rid of 2nd login

I work at a company that is on a Novell network. We all run Novell client
for Windows V. 4.9(2 I think).
What I want to do it to get rid of the second log in screen. There is the
original Novell Client login, then it prompts me for my workstation
username and password. There are other computers that do not ask for the
workstation info, they just create an account based on the novell info.
This is good if you want to map another network share in a workgroup or
something. Does anybody know how to do this?

On another note, this computers are most all shared, so simply clicking
the "change workstation password to match novell passoword" option will
just lock everybody out.

THANKS!

You either use Dynamic Local User (a function of ZEN for Desktops). Or
AutoAdminLogin (see the knowledgebase)

I know that we don't have Zen. So before I go and play with the registry,
let me make sure autiadminlogin is what I want to do.

Will autoadminlogin generate windows xp user accounts (without me having
to pre-make them) from what is inputed into the novell client Username and
Password boxes?

Thanks for the speedy reply!

No, but it will automatically log you in as a local user.

The "Change my windows password to match..." option is easy to
disable... control panel -> Administrative tools -> Computer management
->Local users and Groups -> Users -> Select windows user in question ->
properties -> Select "User cannot change password"

I think there is something simple we're missing. Is there something I can
click when i goto >network connections > properties > novell client? I
don't know if this makes any difference, but the Client Version that is
generating the new user account (it also changes the windows password if
you change your novell password) is 4.90 SP1 where the ones that don't
(most likely because I just don't know how to set it up) are newer
versions.

I don't want to bypass username and password input. I don't want to limit
the workstation to one user. But most of all, I don't want to have to
write a login script (which would end up being a second login screen) for
the NAS box :(

Thanks guys for all your help.

That client cannot create a Windows account on its own. If you see that,
then you must have ZEN components installed. Possibly and old version, like
the old ZEN Starterpack which actually works up to Win 2000.
