Could not get gateway by DHCP
We just updated our clients to 4.91 with Windows SP2. Now, we are finding
some machines that are not getting their appropriate gateway to our
Network. This causes connection problems to the internet, and can not
login to Novell Server.
We had traced the package from DHCP, that's all normal. The protocal of
clients is "IP with IPX compatibility". In theory, I just only need to
input server name or IP address in "Servers" field to login, but sometimes
I have to input the other fields, "Tree and Context", to login. Does bugs
still exist in Novell...clients not getting gateway from DHCP

We are having problems with DHCP and 491 (sp1) clients. The problem
happens getting gateway info from the DHCP server.
With 491, some clients are experiencing not receiving the gateway but can

Ive tested this with client 49 SP2 and the problem doesnt arise.

The NFS gateway is a separate product. You must either purchase it, or if
you have upgrade protection, than you might be entitled to download it
from Novell's web site.

Our site has one Netware 65 SP8 DHCP server, and a newly installed OES2 Sp2a

I'd like to setup DHCP services on my Netware 6.0, sp6 box.
Currently an old WinNt box is handing out the IP addresses. This server also acts as a WINS server.
Here are some of my questions:
1) Can the netware server also act as the WINS server?
2) What is the best way to perform the migration? Should we come up with completely new numbers or can we input the same scope in the Netware DHCP server as we have in the WINNT box?
3) In the windows DHCP management piece, there are no real reference to the DHCP options. How do I know what I have setup now so I can duplicate...
