user<id>.er$ and user<id>.dba

We had an issue over the weekend with our backup which caused a memory
leak on the server that houses our POA.

The server is back up and running and we did some GroupWise maintenance
routines to verify everything is okay.

The only thing that showed up in the Analyze/Fix was for structure check
which returned a couple users having a .dba and a .er$ file. The
user<id>.db appears to be okay for these users and the accounts are

Can I just delete the .dba and .er$ files? Ive seen these before when a
rebuild occurred on the user accounts and I think we were able to delete
them after a couple days.

Yep, they can go if the rebuilt files are working OK. The $er is what
triggered the rebuild, and the .dba is the pre rebuild copy of the database.

<<<Yikes>>> Ghostly threat to Internet Explorer users
Microsoft certainly never imagined anything like this. A talk given behind closed doors at the Microsoft BlueHat Security Briefing revealed a huge security problem in Internet Explorer. Presenter Manuel Caballero demonstrated a far-reaching espionage tool that can trap users who are merely visiting a web site. His spooky summary read: "Do you believe in ghosts? Imagine an invisible script that silently follows you while you surf - even after changing the URL 1,000 times. And this ghost is able to see everything you do, including what you are surfing and what you are typing...

'678': The 666 of DSL Users [14] Posted by L33tdawg on Tue May 28 @ 20:53 (Reads: 4) Source: Wired Anyone who sees those three numbers and is suddenly overcome by an irresistible desire to scream is probably a Windows XP user who has been trying unsuccessfully to set up a DSL connection. In Windows XP, "Error 678" is supposed to indicate that a remote computer did not respond to a connection attempt. In reality, it's simply a vague indication that something, somewhere, has somehow gone wrong. And something has gone wrong for an awful lot of XP DSL subscribers -...

This is a serious problem and all sites should either upgrade to Samba 2.2.8 immediately or prohibit access to TCP ports 139 and 445."
