receiving 550 by sending mails from bugzilla

I think its more a sendmail problem, but on the machine where bugzilla is
running there is another application which send mails perfectly through
sendmail.
The response i received in mail/root
company and company2 are replacing the two real domain names.

It appears what's happening is when anyone tries to deliver mail to that
server, it connects back to the MX server for the domain on the address
given in the envelope FROM and performs a VRFY command to determine if the
user actually exists and can receive mail. In your case, since other
applications can send, it sounds like you have VRFY enabled, but your
wwwrun account is set up to not be able to receive mail.

Unfortunately, many spammers also use this trick via brute force to find
legal addresses, so many ISPs disable the VRFY command. If their server is
smart, it can tell if VRFY is enabled or not and only trusts the results if
it's actually enabled, and blindly accepts the mail if it's disabled. If
this is the case, probably your easiest fix is to disabled VRFY on your
local sendmail. If on the other hand that prevents your other apps from
sending, too, then they need to fix their mailserver on the other end
because they'll be preventing mail from half the Internet.

Thanks for the help.
But we have another solution.
Bugzilla and also CVS get their own server togehter.
So i can make a fresh and clean installation for sendmail, and that =
should solve all my problems.

Can't receive/send bugzilla mails
Hi, when I log a bug, nodoby on the list (assigned/cced) is receiving a notification email that the bug has been logged. Any ideas why? Thanks P #1 - make sure *anyone* receives email. When I shutdown the old server, the new GW7 server states 1 PO and 1 Domain closed. How can I configure GWIA to be 100% independent from the old server??? Jbuchanan, It appear...
