Does bugzilla support mailing-list(mail-group)?

Dear all:

Does bugzilla support mailing-list? It means when i create a new bug, and i
want to
"cc" this bug to many people, i just need to add a group name to cc field.
Now, I only can add each person to cc list one by one.

But if i want to cc this bug to ten people, i need to type ten names, this
is not reasonable.

Does any body know how to add a mailing group, so if i want to cc a bug to a
group,
i can only type a group name.

Thanks..... because i am suffer this problem, it is really confuse me...
Please help me....

You can set up mailing lists in a mailing list manager and create
Bugzilla accounts for the lists.

A mailing list manager is a bit of software which manages mailing lists.
Examples: "ezmlm", "enemies-of-carlotta", "mailman".

for sendmail there is a file called /etc/mail/aliases or /etc/aliases
that is used to create aliases.db (automagicly on startup by redhat).
Add a line that looks like:
BugzillaList: :include:/home/somebody/BugzillaListNames

Add all those you want to receive mail into the file BugzillaListNames.
Then just use BugzillaList as the "user" to receive the bugzilla notification.

Mozilla Mail: mail download status, and interrupting the mail download
Hi, 1) Could Mozilla Mail provide better indication of mail download status? On my home machine (Mozilla 1.4, Windows XP) all I get is the progress bar and the activity lights on the modem. I think that an Outlook Express-style window would be useful, showing current account, current action (e.g. authenticating, donwloading message X of Y) and a progress bar. As it stands, it's hard to tell what's going on. Last night, someone send me an 8MB email unexpectedly, and it took me quite a while to realise what was going on. It seemed like Mozilla had just 'got stuck' -...

transporting settings/emails from mozilla-mail to mozilla-mail
Hallo, I've got a really, really big problem. I'm working with mozilla-mail on an Linux OS for about 2 or 3 years. Two months ago my harddisk crashed. To keep on working , I set up a new Linux OS with the new mozilla-mail. Now the harddisk is repaired. I could reach my mails and setings (filter, accounts...) of the last 2 or 3 Years again, if I knew how to import these information from the old system into the new system. Help needed, because I'm without any e-mail-address of the last 2 or 3 years. Thanks Karsten ...

Windows mail treats incoming bugzilla-daemon mail as junk mail
I'm a client for our Bugzilla server and though my access to the server over our VPN is perfect, all email notifications I receive from our Bugzilla daemon are treated as junk mail by Windows Mail (under vista pro with all updates / service packs). I've tried adding the daemon to "Junk Mail Options / Approuved expeditors" as well as adding a message rule to put those emails (from "bugzilla-daemon") in a seperate folder. Anyone else dealt with this? Thanks. G.R. Garrison says: .... all email notifications I receive from our Bugzilla=20 daemon ...

Mozilla mail
I would like to see the possibility of creating a mail filter (either manually for from a given mail) and applying that filter to all accounts. I would also like to be able to export my mail filters - or even locate them centrally on my server, so that I can set mozilla mail on several workstations to apply the same filters to all or chosen accounts. Why? Because in my experience Mozilla's filters are the best way of managing mail archiving, filtering spam and keeping inboxes - on multiple accounts - free of mails which would be better off in another folder - it just talkes too...

faking the mail from on bugzilla mailings
I'm hosting bugzilla for a small company on the company LAN. In this environment it is very helpful to be able to fake the bugzilla mail from field to have a valid domain such as yahoo.com instead of localhost.localdomain. Is there any parameter to do this? Freeda Yes. Login via browser as admin. Click "edit params" in the footer of the page. You need to edit the mail templates on that page, specifically the "From" field. If you leave something like "bugzilla-daemon", it will add the configured domain of your host. You can fill in complete emai...
