export other people's certificates from Thunderbird

Hi,

I am trying to export "Other People's" S/MIME certificates from
Thunderbird. Is there a known way to do that, or a discussion of that
issue someone could point me to? Any third party tool?

It is unclear to me whether not being able to do so is supposed to be
a feature or a bug, I do not see any reason to not offer this
functionality to users. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
David

'Start -> E-mail [Mozilla Thunderbird]' starts two Thunderbird windows.
Hi, I am seeing this unexpected behavior with Thunderbird's trunk builds on Windows XP. When I start Thunderbird using the 'Start -> E-mail [Mozilla Thunderbird]' way, I always get two windows of Thunderbird. That is not the case when I use the 'Start -> All Programs -> Mozilla Thunderbird -> Mozilla Thunderbird]' way. The later only opens one window - as expected. I believe this is related to the 'minimize to tray' extension, because when I disable that extension, everything is just fine. The extension does not say it is compatible with ...

It's not about 1st amendment, it's about condoning Mozilla's despicable behavior.

Add GENERATED_FILES['charsetalias.properties.h'].export = '/mozilla/path/to/export'
Add this option can make generated files being exported And also, we can turning the key of GENERATED_FILES to be a list or a regexp for apply same rule for multiple paths. --90e6ba25df69fbce0c051a2a6bbf Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 The way that's been discussed to fix this is to have the mozbuild frontend figure out that if there's a file in EXPORTS, then it must either a) live on disk, or b) be present in GENERATED_FILES, and do the right thing. If neither a) nor b) is true, then it is a configuration error. The GENERATED_FILES mechanism is pretty clunky at...

KIR S.A.'s application for inclusion in Mozilla Root Certificate Program
See bug #817994 at <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=817994>. In particular, see comment #14, item #1. Here is a case where an audit against the CA/Browser Forum's Baseline Requirements will not be certified until sometime in 2015. Can the root certificate be accepted before then? Why? Was not the requirement for the Baseline Requirements announced sufficiently long ago? -- David E. Importing from MacOS X's "Mail" program to Mozilla Mail
Hello, Does anyone know how to import email to Mozilla mail from the "Mail" program on MacOS X? As far as I know "Mail" uses the mbox format, but it doesn't seem to work if I just copy the email to the mozilla mail folder and Mozilla doesn't have an import option for this program. What's the purpose of Thunderbird's cache?
I'm doing a complete online backup (switching away from Carbonite, which interfered too much with TBird), and am seeing tons of files go by from a cache folder in Thunderbird. COLGROUP
When I discovered the COLGROUP tag some time ago, I was elated. What a useful style for website designers! I was bummed out to learn that it wasn't supported by my favorite browsers, Mozilla and Firebird. I contacted someone at Mozilla, and it sounded like they weren't terribly interested. Now I'm learning how to work with PHP and MySQL, and I find the COLGROUP tag more useful than ever. Yet Mozilla still doesn't support it. I don't get it. What gives? At first I read your message COLGROUP sounds like a non-standard tag, and mozilla is known to suppor...

Who's monkeying with the mozilla.support.seamonkey: record in my news.mozilla.com.rc file?
Every several months something corrupts the contents of the mozilla.support.seamonkey: record in the news.mozilla.com.rc file of my SM profile. All of a sudden, all of the unread articles in the newsgroup are marked as read. This happens in between news reading sessions. i.e. when I connect to the server the next time, the number of unread articles reported has dropped from whatever it was when I ended the previous reading session, down to only the number of new articles that have just arrived. If I open the .rc file with an editor, the record for the newsgroup has been modified to s...

Can't figure out what's wrong with mail URL's
I have a problem in that when I click a URL within my mail client (Mozilla Thunderbird) - it downloads HTML and then displays it in IE with an address of C:\Documents and Settings\my name\Local Settings\Temp\name of HTML file This means that none of the associated images etc are displayed. The only way I can get the site to load properly is to copy and paste the URL into IE directly. Previously I was using Mozilla Firebird as my default browser. Anyone know what is going on here? Thanks! XP Pro SP1, IE 6.0, Mozilla Thunderbird 0.4 Paul Jackson <jackson.p.g@ayte...
