[SpiderMonkey] JS_DefineObject returns null after moving to newest sources

I moved up to the newest sources last night (last build I used was back
in 7/2002, a 1.4 build). Everything has been working fine, but I
decided to update to the 1.5rc5a. It works fine in my testing suite,
and shows a 7% increase in speed (good job), but doesn't seem to work
in the "real" program.

JS_DefineObject returns null. The line is:

j_obj=JS_DefineObject(cx,parent_obj,"event",&event_class,NULL,0);

The class is:

JSClass			event_class={"event_class",JSCLASS_HAS_PRIVATE,
							JS_PropertyStub,JS_PropertyStub,
							JS_PropertyStub,JS_PropertyStub,

JS_EnumerateStub,scripts_resolve_object,JS_ConvertStub,JS_FinalizeStub};

parent_obj and cx are both valid, and other calls work for them (as
does the 1.4 spidermonkey engine.) Yes, I know this is little
information, but does anything changed between those versions spring to
mind that might cause JS_DefineObject to fail?

[ADMIN] mozilla-jseng is moving!
It should be no secret these days that the Mozilla Foundation and its related projects are no longer a pet project of Netscape, yet the newsgroups we are using for public discussions still bear the Netscape name. We've been planning for years to move from netscape.public.mozilla.* to just mozilla.*, and the time has finally come! In August, we announced a partnership with Giganews Newsgroups (http://www.giganews.com/) to provide NNTP services for our news.mozilla.org domain. It's taken a few months of planning to make it happen, but we're now in the process of moving all of th...

scope_identity returns NULL after move to sql server 2005
Hi all, I've just moved an PB 11.1 (8204) application to SQL Server 2005 (Express) from SQL Server 2000. Any arg is null .. function returns null
Why all functions from PB return null if any argument is a null value ? For example... the Retrieve function. I have a lots a datawindows which can accept null values and I still want the Retrieve function to return the number of the records retrieved from the database !!! Why all functions from PB return NULL if any argument is NULL ??? NULL means undefined or unknown. How is the function able to determine the meaning of undefined or unknown. There is no clear path. It would require significant additional logic to provide support for NULL arguments. In order to deal with the co...

MAX() returning NULL with no NULL data
This line of code SELECT MAX(date_id) FROM vw_report_data has been selecting data just fine for the past 3 weeks. Yesterday it started returning NULL (and it returns it immediately -- almost "too fast."). The tables on which it is based do not contain NULLs anywhere nor am I introducing them with an outer join or any other way I can think of. Interestingly, this line returns what I am expecting (e.g., a value not NULL): SELECT MAX(date_id) FROM vw_report_data WHERE 1=1 I have tried dropping and recreating the indexes and dropping and recreating the view....

Retrieve function returns null in any arg is null
I don't think it's a good ideea that Retreive function of a datawindow control to return NULL if any argument of it is a null value. I have a lots of datawindows that allow (logicaly) NULL arguments and I still want to know the number of the records retrieved from the database using such datawindow. For ex : in the WHERE condition of the datawindow i use something like that : WHERE ( (ifnull(:a,1,0)=1) OR (ifnull(:a,1,0)=0) and field = a ) A retrieval argument can be NULL if the SELECT statement is designed to handle null values. For example, if a two-part WHERE clau...

Hi! I build FF3.0 according instructions and it worked. Mozilla showing source from intermediate page in view source
I'm having a problem with a web site that I've been developing. The initial menu page is straight html while all subsequent pages are JSP's. When a user selects one of the menu options a JSP page is called. Each of the JSP pages first checks to see if the user is logged in and if not sends a redirect to a JSP login page. The user is then returned to the menu. The user then reselects a target page for display. In all cases the target page is displaying correctly, however, when doing a "view source" the only thing I ever see in Mozilla is the html for the logi...

DataSource returns null when using null integer parameter
Hi, I am trying to create a search page using a number of fields, mostly strings, one is an integer. That allows the user to use any combination of the fields to search with. I have a datasource configured using the asp.net (v2.0) tools and the parameters are passed from controls to a stored procedure. I have set default values for the strings to '%' and left the default for the integer blank. When i test the query in configuration it works fine with a blank integer. But when i run it in the webpage the datasource returns null if the integer field is blank. I have checked th...
