Mozilla Calendar <--> Mozilla Sunbird

Hi,

I have been going through Mozilla Sunbird searching for references to
"Mozilla Calendar" and found alot - even on the About page. I think
Mozilla Calendar and Mozilla Sunbird should be much more independant
from each other, for example like Mozilla Mail & Mozilla Calendar.

What do you think?

One of the problems is that Mozilla Calendar isn't included in the
install package by default in the same way as ChatZilla is.

I'm actually not sure why. Anyone?

Just realised that sound a bit strange! What I should have said was
"...in the same way as ChatZilla, Mail & News, etc."

Still, I'm not sure whey its not part of the default install pack. Its
at least as fully functional as the Address Book or ChatZilla.

Mozilla Calendar on Mozilla Update
The calendar extension is now also being hosted on update.mozilla.org: http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=208 Feel free to rate it. Although the best recommended way to download the calendar xpi is to use the download page at: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/download.html if you want to try it from there, make sure you go to http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=208&page=releases and pick the correct OS because the main page does not seem to be detecting the OS properly. HOWTO: Print calendar in Mozilla Calendar / Sunbird on Linux
Many have reported that it is not possible to print a calendar in Mozilla Calendar for Linux. The problem is described in bug #268179: you can preview the calendar, but not print it (because simply the "Print" button is missing). This occurs on Linux (with non-xprint-enabled builds, which all official builds are), and maybe on other platforms. But there's a workaround: To show the print preview, Mozilla Calendar creates a temporary file "calendarPrint.html" (or "calendarPrint-1.html" and so on, if the previous one exists already). On Linux, this in ...

Mozilla->Thurder->Mozilla
I recently moved from Mozilla to Thunder. The migration was effortless as Thunderbird had no problem reading mozilla's Mail directory. I unstalled the mail client component from Mozilla in the process. Now I want to move back to Mozilla because without installing the mail client mozilla does not have the right-click "Send Page" option which sends a web page using its built-in mail client. But the problem was: Mozilla was not able to read the Mail folder modified by Thunderbird. Can someone tell me: 1. if it's possible to add "Send Page" to Moz...

Mozilla calendar to Sunbird

Mozilla Calendar
I've recently started using Mozilla Calendar, and so far the features and user interface are almost exactly what I want... but (maybe) not quite. I use a hosted mail-server to keep my email in one central place - but access it from a number of different computers. IMAP is already configured and secured with a VPN, but I don't currently have a secured ftp service that I can access remotely (and using FTP is all I can find documented...) I notice the "Remote Server URL" option when creating new calendars... but I am unsure about the server configuration requireme...

converting sun calendar to mozilla calendar
Has anyone written a script that takes the SUN calendar format and converts it to a .ics format that can be imported into mozilla calendar?
