Would ya like me to take a screen shot and upload it. ;)

I see a Header section that fills the whole body of the message across
the top.

Then 3 sections that are different sizes under that Header section.

Content #1 goes about 2/3rds across the body. Content #2 and Content #3
fill the rest of the body and although separate content section fill the
same vertical space as Content #1.

Under that is a much better looking version of the signature.

html5 grid layout. Well supported in browsers - I've used it in forum posts
where I wanted, say, a 2-column post. I doubt if many newsreaders can render
it - they're mostly too old. Should be OK in Thunderbird, which has a browser
built-in: which is both a strength and a burden.

This reader only shows html if there's no text version. And I suppress quotes
and sigs, which ISTR even T'bird can do.

That's about all I see, too!! Figured I might have been missing
something, given GG's "complete waste of time"!!

Though I guess it shows GG can format an e-mail to show different stuff,
dependant on if you're in PT or HTML view! He must be smart! ;-P

I do find HTML and CSS quite interesting and fun to play around with
when time permits.

Looking at the source he is using CSS Grid Layout.

Except the message format is invalid. There should be a boundary after
the html part. Tin newsreader, which as an html viewer, reports:
Incomplete multipart message -- unexpected EOF

Boundary?

There is a close </html> tag.

No <!DOCTYPE html> though.

I'll use Rachel Andrews examples and post something here later today.
Now I need to go out to ASDA before they close at 22:00 hours BST.
