Thunderbird Addon to linkify bug references?

I thought I'd ask again...

A long time ago I had an Addon that not only linkified mozilla bugs
referenced in a plain text email like "Bug 643265" (minus the quotes)
just like they are linkified when working in the mozilla bug system, but
it would also log me into the bug system if I wasn't already.

Does anyone know of anything current that does that?

Thanks

Very useful add-on, but it is a different beast which doesn't do what
Tanstaafl is asking about, which is an addon that makes links for bug
references made *in plain text*.

The add-on he remembers is

Thanks Wayne.

Its been so long I honestly don't remember if that was it or not, but
sadly it doesn't appear to even be worth the trouble to try to get it
working, since even 9 years ago the last comment was it probably
wouldn't work with the latest changes made (3.0.x time frame).

A little problem with that Grabber, it's all very much outdated. So no
workable XPI at that place. Other solutions/links?

I took the 9 year old code from
https://github.com/clarkbw/thunderbird-bugzilla-link-grabber/tree/master
Unpacked it, altered max-version in install.rdf to 53.0, zipped it up,
renamed .zip to .xpi, and dragged it onto TB's extensions page.

It does convert bugzilla URLs to clickable 'bug 123456' text.
It doesn't convert 'bug 123456' to a link. Maybe something to do with
STEEL mentioned on the wiki page
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Tech/Toolkit_API/STEEL

Almost certainly easily fixable by someone familiar with TB extensions.

It has a somewhat enigmatic option!
