sound notifications - just stopped

After this week's MS Updates,
I just noticed that the sound notification for email received
appears to have stopped working.

Just checked if the laptop sound overall was working - and it is ok -
Any thoughts ??

Also - just checked the Win10 Settings...
--> Settings --> Sound --> New Mail Notification
and yes, the TEST button does produce the sound.
All the other sounds also test/work as expected.

[EDIT] ---> OK WEIRD -
as I was typing this, an email came in, and the sound happened...

FWIW

I find mail and chat sound notification to be intermittent on Win10 and
Linux.

Calendar reminders are consistent.

Thanks. I thought I was just going senile and thought I was missing the
"you have mail" sound I have setup for TB in Linux. Good to know that
it really might be a minor bug.
