Thunderbird

As much as I like Mozilla, I do miss the option of opening an email in
the same pane like Outlook Express. This way you can preview a message
before double clicking it to a new page. Does anyone know of a way to
change this preference, or if this is in the works?

Support for Firefox & Thunderbird
Hi all, Following the comments relating to the last MoFo staff meeting, I thought I'd post. I realise I run a serious risk of being flamed here, however... I'd just like to offer a vote of thanks for the MoFo in managing to ship the two excellent products that are Firefox and Thunderbird. IMHO they are best of breed in their class. I've been a Netscape user since I was at university back in 1997. At the time it was way ahead of the opposition. When I left (summer 2000), this was around the time of NS6 being released & IE finally won round 1 of the wars. ...

How to Call Firefox from Thunderbird when Firefox is not Default Browser
I have Time Warner's Roadrunner. They provide free anti-virus, ad, firewall, etc programs that do not have Mozilla versions so I use Outlook and Internet Explorer as my default. There are a number of things I like to do using Firefox and Thunderbird - such as reading these newsgroups. I want Thunderbird to call up Firefox it I need a browser while using it. Does anyone know how to do this without changing system defaults? I have found that Explorer and Mozilla will get in competition with each other if I have both products running at the same time and can destroy ...

Firefox and Thunderbird
Name: Sasho Zabrchanec-Spirkoski Email: sashozs_at_gmail.com Product: Other (please state) Summary: Firefox and Thunderbird Comments: Hi. This is not a bug-report or a problem, but a proposition. Why don't you put for download a package of swf, java and a few more mostly used plugins? It's easyer to the users. You can eaven integrate the option of installing the mostly used plugins with the installation. It's boring that "You need a plug-in" so then i say "OK, download and install it"... Firefox, Thunderbird
Name: Tim Skopnik Email: timatapticodotde Product: Other (please state) Summary: Firefox, Thunderbird Comments: I wonder why you spend time on DNS-caching on application-level. Every operating system does this - but in opposite to your applications the OSses know about network changes and can flush their caches accordingly. neither thunderbird nor firefox are aware of such changes and therefore often contact the wrong ip-addresses in my case. At last it should not be the responsibility of an Application to chace DNS responses! Please disable this silly "feature" i...
