Lost Sound in FireFox

I'm running FireFox 54.0.1. I was playing a YouTube video, then I
stopped it briefly. When I restarted it, the video was fine but the
sound was gone.

The sound remains fine in Windows and in other browsers.

Can someone tell what might be wrong and how to fix it.

You might have "muted" it in FF. To check this, in the FF tab there is
an icon for speaker and you need to click on it On/Off and see if it works.

See this picture to get an idea.

Silly question, but you didn't click the mute button in YouTube did you?
It's right next to the pause/play one. I think I've hit it by mistake
before now (-:!

I have this problem to with Firefox and Thunderbird.
But not because of muting.
If I start a video I get a message bar that says that pulseaudio is not installed after
restarting the program everything works fine again.
Hope that gets fixed sometime in the future.
