Using: Lightning-4.5b1 with Seamonkey-2.40 on Slackware Linux 14.2 and Xfce
I am having a problem with Lightning color dialogs not responding to mouse
or keyboard input. This affects the calendar color dialog and category
color dialog. The issue is described in bug report 1151440 at
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1151440 but marked "resolved,
fixed" over a year ago. I found more information in bug report 1188945 at
Comments in bug report 1188945 say to use Error Console, enter
"Application.platformIsLinux" and click Evaluate. I get no response at all
from that. But I get "false" back from evaluating "Application.platformIsMac".
Based on those bug report comments, I changed 2 Lightning .js files in my
extensions directory to remove the tests for Application.platformIsLinux
and assume that was true. This fixed the problem for both calendar and
category color dialogs.
Are there any steps I can take to try to figure out why
Application.platformIsLinux does not seem to work on my setup?
