Imported Reminderfox ICS File Into Lightning = Huge Mess #2

Not able to open Reminderfox in the latest FF, so found the latest ICS file=
with Reminderfox (dated yesterday) and imported that into newly installed =
Lightning.
Most reminders in reminderfox were set for yearly repeat.
This resulted in a huge mess where Lightning is constantly getting script t=
imeouts / not responding, and showing events at the top for MANY years for =
the same event.
Don=E2=80=99t see any way to remove all these repeat events.
Tried to do a complete removal of Lightning, but this reminderfox ICS event=
s just show up again on the next Lightning install attempt.=20

Using the latest stable versions of both TB (52.6) & Lightning (lightning-5=
..4-sm+tb-windows).

Yes Reminderfox can't be used with FX Quantum, but you could use
Waterfox instead. Thunderbird should do the job also. But due to massive
code changes newer TB versions (58/60) will only be supported with a new
RmFX version (most hopefully ready during Febr.).
Did you discussed the problem on the RmFX forum?
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/reminderfox See there for notes
about Waterfox.
And yes, there is a difference how repeating reminders are handled on
RmFX and Lightning.
