Does bugzilla support mailing-list? It means when i create a new bug, and i
"cc" this bug to many people, i just need to add a group name to cc field.
Now, I only can add each person to cc list one by one.
But if i want to cc this bug to ten people, i need to type ten names, this
is not reasonable.
Does any body know how to add a mailing group, so if i want to cc a bug to a

Compared the line charts, the "mountain" style gives a better
understanding of the development over time, and seems to be the
preferred 'bugs over time' report method for program managers. FWIW.
It is a pretty trivial thing.

...Anyone set up Bugzilla as an "support tracking system"?
Typical customer service organizations have an "incident tracking
system" to record customer contacts, and a *separate* bug tracking
system to track confirmed or suspected bugs in the products.
The key here is being able to create a bug in the bug system from the
incident tracking system, and being able to cross-reference them (or at
least, have a field on an incident with the bugs referred to by the

I just took a look at the list archives of support-bugzilla for the
first time and saw an incredible amount of spam, making it hard to
find actual Bugzilla-related discussion.
It should be possible to keep out spam with the right Mailman
settings, as with most open source software discussion lists.
This kind of problem could be solved by enabling some Mailman list
moderation features, but the spam volume is so high maybe it's time to
deprecate that list and start a new one (buzilla-users or somesuch).
Is anyone reading this email, or is it lost amid the spam?

I'm trying to install Bugzilla (3.4.4) on a Suse box. After checksetup.pl told me some modules were missing, I executed perl install-modules.pl --all. Lots were installed, but it failed in the end. After running checksetup.pl again, it appeared that the MySQL module hadn't been installed. I tried to install just this one and got the same error as before. Here's the full log:

I'm migrating bugzilla from version 3.0.2 to 3.2.3.
I have 2 bugzilla instances running in the same server named "A" and
Now I created 2 new mysql db called "test.A" and "test.B" to check
I successful migrated A to test.A (A is a very small DB because it is
a bugzilla instance not used a lot) but when I was doing the same on B
I got this error while I was running checksetup.pl
Bugzilla now uses the InnoDB storage engine in MySQL for most tables.
