Search page not show Completed bugs

Dear Sir,

Can a project be flagged as completed so it will not show up in the search page by default?

Thanks and Regards,
Charles

No, if bugs are still maintained at all for some project, expectation
is that those need to be accessible e.g. using the search.

If this is a problem for you, you might implement a custom extension
to filter projects in the search form.

https://bugzilla.readthedocs.io/en/5.0/integrating/extensions.html
https://www.bugzilla.org/docs/4.4/en/html/api/Bugzilla/Extension.html
https://www.bugzilla.org/docs/4.4/en/html/api/Bugzilla/Hook.html

Other approaches are to move those projects to some special
classification used as graveyard or remove those projects and their
bugs entirely or restrict group access to those projects, because
projects without access are filtered from searches.

If I was you, I would use the special graveyard-classification or
simply live with how it is. Works for Mozilla itself, should work for
you:
