Resolution ---

Hi,

for reasons, which escape me, the resolution is treated somewhat special in the Bugzilla UI. On my Bugzilla (5.0.4), if I visit the "Advanced" search, I find the following:

- For product, component, and status, no items are selected, and the meaning is "all products", "all components", etc.
- For resolution, however, there is a selected entry "---", and the meaning is "only bugs with resolution ---".

This is an obvious inconsistency, which I would like to change. I have visited the "Field values" page, but there is no entry "---", only "", and that is marked as non-deletable (for good reason, most likely).

Thanks,

Jochen

You can't change that value easily, the value itself is hard-coded at
many different places and seems to need to stay that way. The display
of that value seems to be hard-coded in the templates as well, so you
need to customize templates to change it. That of course means that
you are on your own when updating and need to migrate your changes as
necessary. Doesn't seem worth it, but simply search for "---" in the
templates to see yourself:
