Resolution field is enabled for all status

In our bugzilla installation Resolution field is enabled for all the status=
.. Normally it is enabled when status is selected as Resolved. But here reso=
lution is enabled even for status New and user is able to change the resolu=
tion during any status transition. I have searched all options in Admin and=
 unable to find the same. Please help me resolving this issue..

Did you have a look at the bug status workflow? It's not under
"Parameters", but has its own link in the admin-UI.

Check for customizations in skins, JS and templates then. The
resolution is always available in the templates, but its visibility
switched using JS. Look around "id" "resolution_settings" within
"status".

Maybe there's even a custom field, in theory one could build one
containing the same values like the defaul resolution select box.
