Does bugzilla support mailing-list(mail-group)?Dear all:
Does bugzilla support mailing-list? It means when i create a new bug, and i
want to
"cc" this bug to many people, i just need to add a group name to cc field.
Now, I only can add each person to cc list one by one.
But if i want to cc this bug to ten people, i need to type ten names, this
is not reasonable.
Does any body know how to add a mailing group, so if i want to cc a bug to a
group,
i can only type a group name.
Thanks..... because i am suffer this problem, it is really confuse me...
Please help me....

faking the mail from on bugzilla mailingsI'm hosting bugzilla for a small company on the company LAN. In this
environment it is very helpful to be able to fake the bugzilla mail
from field to have a valid domain such as yahoo.com instead of
localhost.localdomain. Is there any parameter to do this?
Freeda
Yes.
Login via browser as admin. Click "edit params" in the footer of the page.
You need to edit the mail templates on that page, specifically the "From"
field. If you leave something like "bugzilla-daemon", it will add the
configured domain of your host. You can fill in complete emai...

Windows mail treats incoming bugzilla-daemon mail as junk mailI'm a client for our Bugzilla server and though my access to the server over
our VPN is perfect, all email notifications I receive from our Bugzilla
daemon are treated as junk mail by Windows Mail (under vista pro with all
updates / service packs). I've tried adding the daemon to "Junk Mail
Options / Approuved expeditors" as well as adding a message rule to put
those emails (from "bugzilla-daemon") in a seperate folder. Anyone else
dealt with this?
Thanks.

HI Vinod,
I did the same. I changed the code to use my SMTP server. After these
changes I executed the "checksetup.pl" in c:/Bugzilla>. I got an error
saying "The compilation failed in 'globals.pl' in line number 38"
I am attaching the same.
Can you please help me what should I do further?
Thanks,

That depends on your SQL server.
In MySQL, you need to use the InnoDB storage engine. The problem is,
there are features that InnoDB doesn't support that we use that are
supported in the MyISAM storage engine like FULLTEXT indexes.
