How to run bugzilla on virtual host with port: bugzilla.domain.com:port?

Hello,

I'm in need of some Bugzilla wisdom.

I have setup an Apache virtual host to run my Bugzilla installation. Since
I have several SSL Virtual hosts running on the same server I have to use
ports since Apache does not support multiple SSL virtual hosts. However,
when I go into the Bugzilla parameters setup and enter a url with the port
into the sslbase field I get a Bugzilla error message complaining that the
url must not have a port specified.

Why does Bugzilla care about the port? And how can I work around this
random limitation?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Bugzilla on alternative port
I've set up bugzilla (3.6.6) behind a firewall that doesn't transparently pass port 80. Instead, the internal web site runs on a different port. I can get to the bugzilla login page via http://mysite:1234/bugzilla/ but clicking the bugzilla login button doesn't use the alternative port number, so it's blocked. Is there a config option for this setup? thanks. -- Tim Evans, TKEvans.com, Inc. | 5 Chestnut Court UNIX System Admin Consulting | Owings Mills, MD 21117 http://www.tkevans.com/ | 443-394-3864 http://www.come-here.com/News/ | tkevans@tkevans...
