Bugzilla on CentOS 7 - graphical reports not displaying bar/pie/ charts

Installed bugzilla 5.0.4 on CentOS 7.
everything is working fine including reports in table form.

when pie chart/bar/line is selected, it doesnt give any error but doesnt display any graphs.

checked all forums and issue goes back as far as 2011 and is marked as installation issues.

wondering if something broke the graphical feature and bugzilla updates is continuing with this broken feature ( just a guess -no offence intended to anyone )

It would be of great help if someone can test it out . not sure if I am missing anything .

Depending on the problem, the error might be displayed inline in the
HTML view of your browser. Have a look using the developer tools of
your browser, such things have been reported in the past on the list
already.

Which is the most likely explanation, so check all optional modules
and their requirements, as the latter is not checked by Bugzilla
itself and highly depends on how you installed modules. Best practice
is to prefer the package manager of your OS for everything available
that way.

Graphical reports work fine for me, so check you optional modules,
their dependencies and your configuration.

This works for me on RHEL 7.

I seem to recall that there are php packages (I think gd) related to
generating graphics with php. I had those installed for other reasons.
Maybe that is related.

thanks to everyone for their support . I tried few things . one thing i not=
iced when using the web browser (developer mode/console) is that I got 403 =
forbidden error. I searched the group for the 403 forbidden error and one =
user posted to check the configuration settings-required settings=20
URL urlbase
The URL that is the common initial leading part of all Bugzilla URLs.
not sure why we need to explictly mention the URL Base=20
since its not in DNS , i added my http://<ipaddress>/bugzilla which is my U=
RL to access bugzilla.

That means your web server applies access restrictions for some
reason. What's the requested URL, is it related to graphical charts?
If so, check your web server config why it forbids access. In my case
"report.cgi" is requested and provides some PNG.

Because it's the "initial leading part of all Bugzilla URLs" and is
therefore placed in all links etc. generated. Without that base being
correct, requests might simply go to the wrong place.
