Bugzilla Modification Support Requested

Hello All,

=20

I am a QA Analyst and i need your assistance with regards to one of my issu=
es.

In Bugzilla, I had recently changed the name and sort keys of the some of t=
he field values to match my company=92s requirements.

I changed the Severity and Priority field of a bug and also modified some =
sort key values.

My questions are as follows:

=20

1). What is the use of sort keys? Can/should they be changed? Do they have =
to be consistent?

2). After changing the names, the bug values such as =93Critical=94 and =93=
Blocker=94, that previously appeared bold and red in color when searched th=
rough a list of bugs are now appearing as regular font and black in color. =
I could go=20

ahead and differentiate important bugs through a list but I cannot an=
ymore? Is there any way I can now set colors and set text as bold?

=20

Please let me know if you have the solution for the above mentioned issues.

Eagerly awaiting your response.

=20

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Chirag Gajjar

Name: William Johnson Email: william0992atsbcglobaldotnet Product: Firefox Summary: support/what support Comments: your support? department for Firefox issues is nothing but a circular maze of unbelievably confusing information that is of no use for the layman and I would dump this piece of trash if I didn't need it for certain websites. I don't know how to reprogram the many bugs or fix the many websites broken by this thing and its "error console" with no directions as to what to do with it. What is it's purpose if there is no help function for it? ...

spam on support-bugzilla list
I just took a look at the list archives of support-bugzilla for the first time and saw an incredible amount of spam, making it hard to find actual Bugzilla-related discussion. It should be possible to keep out spam with the right Mailman settings, as with most open source software discussion lists. This kind of problem could be solved by enabling some Mailman list moderation features, but the spam volume is so high maybe it's time to deprecate that list and start a new one (buzilla-users or somesuch). Is anyone reading this email, or is it lost amid the spam? ...
