Maker Party - Post-event metrics

Hi Reps,

I'd like to echo Amira's recent message to say the it was a really
successful Maker Party season, and you played a huge role. While it goes
on, we'd like to draw a line in the sand and see what impact we made. To
do that I need your help.

If you ran a Maker Party this summer (were the event organizer), please
fill out the post-event metrics. To do this, you edit the event on the
Reps portal and in the event metrics section, for each one there are two
input fields - expected outcome and actual outcome. Be sure both are
filled in.

In general it is good to fill in post-event metrics. This will help us
measure impact. We can gauge the program health, ask for resources, make
improvements, and so on based on these metrics.

If you haven't seen the Maker Party Kochi video yet, check it out, it
captures really well the energy and effort that we all put in.

Thanks,
--

New event metrics: update your upcoming events on the Reps Portal
Hi there Reps! Today we are introducing a better, easier way to create and report metrics for your events. Action needed: If you already have a future event on the Reps Portal and it is starting after June 16th, you need to edit your event and select at least 2 new-style metrics from the dropdown menus. Be sure to do this before June 16th. Also, starting today any new events created will use the new metrics types. As an event organizer you will receive an email notification after the event asking you to report your success. This form asks for a count of the number of att...

Party Party Party
Wednesday night at OSCON will see the annual social event occur once more in our luxurious and palatial[1] suite. Swing by any time from 7:30 on. Dan Sugalski has kindly agreed to provide the food, and we'll have the usual booze and soft drinks paid for by your spontaneous displays of goodwill. Randal's party[2] starts at 9 but goes until late, so I'm happy to play the end of this party by ear. Usually I start making people stagger home around midnight, so that I can be functional the next day. More details will appear on: http://oscon.kwiki.org/index.cgi?p5party...

What generals generally do

[Ordering Swag SOP] FYI: Renamed wiki events to Reps Portal events
Dear fellow Reps, we integrated a long overdue update to our Ordering Swag SOP this weekend: All references to "wiki event pages" have been replaced with "Reps Portal event pages". https://wiki.mozilla.org/ReMo/SOPs/Ordering_Swag So the SOP should again be in alignment with our processes. I hope this update makes your next swag order as smooth as possible. Best regards, Henrik -- Henrik Mitsch Mozilla Reps Mentor: https://reps.mozilla.org/u/henx/ Twitter: @hmitsch ...
