...Load .pdf file and .tiff file
Coding in VB, framework .net 2.0, vs2005
When the user click on retrieve particular file(either in .pdf or .TIFF file),
I need to show the file in the browser, then check for the user's role, if the user is common user, the print icon should be disable...
I have no idea how i gonna solve it...If i using the reportviewer, it cannot support .TIFF file....
Thanx in advance...
A hyperlink to the file will display them in the client's configured viewer. If they can see it, they can print it.

Clicking on webpages' links which open a pdf file in Firefox sometimes
causes Firefox to appear frozen (stops responding). Even the top right
loading progress icon stops rotating, thus there are no indication
whether Firefox is still alive.

Name: Elizabeth Doidge
Summary: Firefox hangs loading PDF files
Firefox started hanging loading PDF files and, having gone through all
your Help topics on PDF and hanging I was about to do a clean reinstall
but changed my default PDF viewer from Adobe Reader 9 to PDF-XChange
Viewer (the free version). That fixed the problem. It wasn't the PDF
files causing it to hang, but Adobe Reader.

Howdy. I had an error this morning (sorry, I didn't write it down as I
figured I could look at it via the logfile) that was something to do with
nwguard.db. Anywho when I go into the GWPOA and load it and press F9 for
view log file I get 'File I/O error, press enter' and that's it. It just
goes back to the POA main screen. Any ideas what may be causing this?
I doubt ngwguard has anything to do with this.
Check your POA log path and such.
