'do' won't 'do' if '/'
Greetings to All from Au, Have a NetWare Perl 5.8.4 and wanted to tweak File\Spec\NW.pm to try and standardise on '/' separators. If I run a test script (t/uni/lower.t) with an unmodified NW.pm, it calls t/uni/case.pl, that, in case.pl, (when the path separators are '\'), the $file is '..\lib\unicore\To\Lower.pl' and the following code portion works, with $simple getting a returned table: sub casetest { my ($base, $spec, $func) = @_; my $file = File::Spec->catfile(File::Spec->catdir(File::Spec->updir, "lib", &qu...

The '+' in the'Open a new tab' button
Name: Blablah Email: joannesvosatgmaildotcom Product: Firefox Summary: The '+' in the'Open a new tab' button Comments: The + (plus) sign in the 'Open a new tab' button (the button in the tab bar that opens a new tab when clicked) doesn't really look like a + unless you get close, but rather like a divide sign (a horizontal line with a dot above and below). Reducing the inner shadow a bit might do the trick. Browser Details: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b99) Gecko/20090605 Firefox/3.5b99 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) From URL:...

can't get reports 'Old Chart's and 'New Charts' to work properly
1. If I try and draw a chart it doesn't go beyond June of this year so I'm missing a lot of data in the output. 2. Is there a reason for this - I have been modding bugzilla so that it has an extra status field from earlier this year - would that have had an impact ? 3. Also when I try and do a Old Chart or NewChart I can't see my new 'Status' field to select - this is ok if I do a bar chart though. cheers On Mon, 2011-12-05 at 03:25 -0800, nothtb@ukonline.co.uk wrote: > 1. Name: imy100 Product: Firefox Summary: tab management: can't open a new tab by double-clicking in whitespace when there's no more whitespace to click in Comments: if there are more than about 6 tabs open (on a widescreen monitor), there is no more whitespace to click in to open a new 'untitled' tab and user is forced to resort to keyboard shortcut(ctrl+t). i suggest incorporating a small gap to the right hand edge of the last tab. or adding a '+' icon in each tab (next to the close tab 'x' icon) to open a new tab. Cast from type ''''DBNull'''' to type ''''String'''' is not valid.
How do I avoid getting this error: Cast from type ''''DBNull'''' to type ''''String'''' is not valid. I am trying to get values from the database into a form for updating using a Datareader, SQL is set to allow nulls for certain fields as they are not required but the only way I can get the form to display is by adding a space in SQL. Is there another way around this? Check if it is equal to DBNull.Value first and if it is, don't do the cast.Stanley Tan theSpoke Blog Where in the code does it need to go?
