It would certainly be nice if I could install RAD Studio updates on a new installation without having to babysit the installer.
Currently the 3 updates available come as 4 installers, each of which requires the trivial action of pressing the "Next" button to begin installation. Very annoying.
...Installation instructions do not describe how to install the product
Name: Richard Hamilton
Summary: Installation instructions do not describe how to install the product
On the Firefox 2 release notes pages, the installation instructions do
not describe how to install firefox. They simply say that the
installation will overwrite previous versions. Inside the tarball, the
readme says to read the web site, which goes back to the same place.
I know the installation is easy, but it would be nice if there were a
couple of words somewhere that described the steps.

I'd like to install openSUSE 11.2 (milestone-2) on my spare partition,
but I really don't want it to overwrite my current GRUB configuration.
Is there any way either skip the GRUB install or just have it write to
it's own root partition? Then I could add an entry to my current GRUB

Over the many years of developing with VS I've gone from VS ? (the precessor to VS 2005) --> VS 2005 and now I have VS 2008 in hand. What I would like to do is a clean instlal of VS 2008 without all the others but all the others have been upgrades just as is VS 2008.
Is there a way for me to install VS 2008 after I remove all the others? I'm trying to clean everything up. I have all the original upgrade CDs and keys for VS 2005 and before so if I needed to pop one of them in for verification I could.
