Setting/Re-setting password programaticalyIs there a way for a user to reset his password when using Appeon
Security? We will have hundreds of users and I don't want to set/reset
all their passwords using Appeon Enterprise Manager. Is there a way to
update their passwords from a Change Password Form in our application?
Hi,
So far we cannot support resetting the password in the
application. You still need to change it in AEM.

Settings.Settings file
Settings.Design.cs file defaultInstance returns the localhost url instead of remote machine url. The webservice is hosted in remote machine so that the defaultinstance should be returns remote machine url but instead of it returns localhost url. The solution caches the settings somewhere in the physical path? Please anyone know the solution let me know. Thanks.
The Settings.designer.cs file is the automatically-generated settings that you edit in the Settings.settings file.
You should edit the value using the settings editor, not in the .cs file. To do that, double-click on the settings.s...

This is the kinda of crap that really pisses people off. Very Microsoft
of you. There is no way Mozilla can know what its users all want, don't
try to force us to do things. Follow your own rules.
Now how do I down grade? Or am I dele...

I clicked on a windows icon which stated my computer was going to update
before closing and it ended up clearing all my Firefox bookmarks, and
settings, and who knows what else. It would be nice to be able to save
my settings for firefox on my computer once in a while, then if
microsoft devises a way to erase my firefox settings, I can reimport
them. I don't know if they are saved anywhere on my computer but I don't
see how.

Firefox re-opens old set of tabsFirefox re-opens all tabs after I individually close them and
Firefox. Oddly, this happens with a set of tabs I had open days ago.
Since then, I have visited multiple sites, opened different tabs and
new Firefox windows, and restarted my computer- however, no matter
what I do, when I open Firefox anew or open a new window, the same set
of tabs from several days ago all open.
This is a new problem. I am running Vista and Firefox 2.0.0.9.
Any ideas?????
Thanks!

ConnectionString stored as plain-text in Settings.settings and Settings.Designer.cs
If you create a solution with a DAL much like the example in Working with Data in ASP.NET 2.0 (http://www.asp.net/learn/dataaccess/default.aspx?tabid=63) but you create your DAL as a seperate class library project from your website... the DAL project has a directory called Properties with a file called Settings.settings. Your connections string is stored as plain-text in this file (and it's sub-file) Settings.Designer.cs.Is there a way to encrypt this connection string much like you can if it were in a web.config.
