firefox 126.96.36.199 and 188.8.131.52
Summary: firefox 184.108.40.206 and 220.127.116.11
Ever since the updates to 18.104.22.168, our customers are not able to use
iNotes (Lotus Domino Webmail) to attach any emails. It is possible that
the fix "MFSA 2007-37 jar: URI scheme XSS hazard" is causing the
errors. Our only results is to have people downgrade back to 22.214.171.124 or
to use IE.
I know its not really a bug because the fix is for security purposes,
but many Lotus Notes users are not able to use iNotes to check their emails.
Browser Detai...Firefox 126.96.36.199 closes automatically to install update to 188.8.131.52
who on earth implemented this stupid thing that Firefox 184.108.40.206 closes
automatically without any warning to install an update to 220.127.116.11. I
might appreciate an automatic update feature but I hate that an update
is done without any user pre-warning. I can not accept that Firefox
shutdowns itself to install an update. I was just accessing my mailbox
to write an email and this was gone due to the unexpected shutdown.
Please avoid such stupid things in future!

I am currently using a version of Firefox with the version number of
184.108.40.206. This is the second time that I have been told that it has now
been updated to a newer version of Firefox with a version number of
220.127.116.11. I assume that 18.104.22.168 is newer (and better) than version
22.214.171.124. How can I stop this "update"?

I downloaded the .10 version and immediately was unable to open any pdf

redownload 22.214.171.124. There should be an easy place on your website to
download previous versions of Firefox.

Firefox is turning into a piece of crap.
First, there is only 1 profile, the default profile.
Second, after the first 22.214.171.124 update wiped out the profile settings
(again), the automatic check for updates was turned off.
This morning the customized profile settings went MIA again, Firefox
decided it was version 126.96.36.199 (per the help, about firefox) and
automatically downloaded 188.8.131.52; even though 184.108.40.206 had already been
installed on July 31.

Summary: Buggy firefox 126.96.36.199 and 188.8.131.52
I don't know what changed since 184.108.40.206 but the new releases (220.127.116.11,
18.104.22.168) seem very buggy. Random crashes, slow responses and
additionally problems with administrator rights.
I had similar problems on 2 out of 2 systems. Best solution for me (and
probably a lot of other users) is to go back to 22.214.171.124 and disable

I dont know if this is a problem, but I've encountered that Firefox
asked me at least 5 times to update from 22.214.171.124 to 126.96.36.199. Which I did.
They all had the release date 30.11.2007. Is this normal? Am I doing
something wrong? Or is someone hacking into the Firefoxes update routine?
Please chack it.

Firefox automatically downloaded/installed 188.8.131.52 and asked permission
to restart upon which it continuously crashes (reboot etc. didn't fix).
I reinstalled 184.108.40.206 and have no issues with this version.
How do I prevent a repeat of above events?
