RE: feedback-firefox Digest, Vol 14, Issue 81

Two things:

1. With 3.0 RC2, it doesn't reload web pages from last session, even though
I have that option selected in the options...
2. Google maps is still working horribly compared to IE. It's slow and lags
and stalls when trying to move maps around... I was hoping this would get
addressed in 3.0....

i really hope there is soon going to be a clean way to go back to the
FF2 addressbar behaviour. I find the looks irritating, but that's not the
main problem. The main problem is the matching algorithm. I don't have that
many sites i regularly visit, thus i had to type at most 2 characters in FF2
to get the site i wanted on top, provided it was one of my regulars (for
others i rather use a proper search or bookmarks).
Now in FF3 RC1 it is simply useless.

Summary: Linkedin.com "People you may know" hover-over is hovering under

Comments:
The "home" screen of linkedin.com provides a section in the top-right of the
screen called "People you may know" with three people it thinks you might
want to connect to. There is an "x" button which when hovered over is
supposed to bring up a menu of reasons why you want the system to "Don't
show me this person." The menu today is four items long:

I don't know them
I don't know them well enough
I prefer not to connect
Other reason

Under that is an advertisement block.

In IE7, when I hover over the x on the bottom of the three contacts, the
menu that appears with those four "Don't show me this person." choices is
brought up in a layer ON TOP OF the advertisement. In Firefox 3 beta, the
layer is BELOW the advertisement, which makes it impossible to select the
choices.
