Problems opening Firefox, tried loading 3.5.3, and 3.0

Summary: Problems opening Firefox, tried loading 3.5.3, and 3.0

Comments:
Tried opening my computer with 3.5.3, and then tried with 3.014 or the
version before 3.5.3, and Mozilla Firefox doesn't open. I don't know
what to do! I like using Mozilla Firefox better than Internet
Explorer.

I have taken 3.5.3 off my computer and put the 3.014 version on my
computer, but every time I try to load the system says not responding,
and has to close.

Please send me an email as what I should do, I don't know what, and I
miss Mozilla Firefox.

Thank You

Joyce Conradson

I am using Windows XP SP3. In both products, Firefox 3.0 and 3.0.3, the home page (I usually have 3 tabbed sites on startup) disappears and a black page appears. When I press the home button, I get the Mozilla Google page. The only way of getting the correct home is to reload Firefox. The problem is occurring on a 1-3 day interval. How to roll back to Firefox 3.0.3 from Firefox 3.0.4
After I updated to firefox 3.0.4 I could no longer connect to the internet. Says server not found. Tried several web sites, including google and yahoo. It appears that the problem is with zonealarm firewall. If I turn off the firewall, the pages load. However, zonealarm normaly would ask me to allow it to connect to the internet. But is not since asking me about firefox, just blocking it. Never had that problem before. So while I figure that out, just like to go back to 3.0.3 Thanks for any help I can get. Firefox 3.5.3 and 3.0.14 released
Firefox 3.5.3 and Firefox 3.0.14 are released for OS/2. The main changes for 3.5.3 are: - the HTML5 <video> and <audio> elements now work, thanks to the work of Rich Walsh - a workaround was implemented to keep Firefox from crashing the MMOS2 sound system Both 3.5.3 and 3.0.14 contain the usual stability and security fixes done in cross-platform code by the Mozilla developers. Both releases are available from <http://www.mozilla.org/ports/os2/> The ZIP packages, the README file, the MD5 checksum, and the relevant Language Pack directories are listed on t...

firefox 3.5.3 slower than 3.0.14
Name: Danny Johnson Email: d4g7johnsonatgmaildotcom Product: Firefox Summary: firefox 3.5.3 slower than 3.0.14 Comments: I had continuous trouble since upgrading to 3.5.3. Using 768Kb Verizon DSL on 32-bit Vista AND Ubuntu 9.04, 3.5.3 seems MUCH slower to load pages than 3.0.x. It is so bad that page loads often time out. I have removed 3.5.3 and gone back to 3.0.14, which produced an immediate improvement. I did not test any other 3.5.x version so I cannot comment on them.
