Problems building Mozilla browser (CVS Version) - Goal make changes in Mozilla ActiveX Control

Hi!

I've problems to build the mozilla browser in the cygwin environment.
My system is Windows XP, so I want to build the Windows version.

My mozconfig file contains the following lines:

===============================================================
export BUILD_OFFICIAL=1
export MOZILLA_OFFICIAL=1
ac_add_options --disable-shared
ac_add_options --disable-optimize --disable-debug
mk_add_options MOZ_OBJDIR=/c/mozilla-build/mozilla/builds/obj-
@CONFIG_GUESS@
mk_add_options MOZ_BUILD_PROJECTS="browser"
mk_add_options MOZ_CO_PROJECT="browser"
ac_add_app_options browser --enable-application=browser
ac_add_app_options xulrunner --enable-application=xulrunner
===============================================================

I get these errors:

Is there something wrong with my mozconfig file?

These are the steps I did:

===============================================================
cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs-mirror.mozilla.org:/cvsroot co mozilla/
client.mk
cd mozilla
make -f client.mk checkout MOZ_CO_PROJECT=browser,xulrunner

export MOZCONFIG=/c/mozilla-build/mozilla/mozconfig
make -f client.mk build
===============================================================

You should really be using the MozillaBuild install to setup the build
system on Windows. See: http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Windows_Build_Prerequisites

For building so you can make changes to the Mozilla ActiveX control,
you should be building against trunk and you should only be concerned
with building XULRunner.

ActiveX Control Problems
Using Microsoft ActiveMovie v5.01 (amovie.ocx) and Marquee v1.0 (marquee.ocx) controls in my PB 6.0 app. ActiveMovie I can get/set most properties of the control. Some, like "volume", and any of the 'Show" properties have no effect. Seems to be no reason. Video control is OK, however. Marquee When I insert an HTML document to scroll, the starting point for the scroll is randomly set at different points in the document. For example, one of my 3-page documents starts scrolling about 1/2 way through. Sometimes, the bottom few lines of the document (even on sho...

But, when I took the new control (in the same application), it was still carrying the same properties. Now, how do I solve this problem? I guess it is related to versioning. Thanks, Bans Hello, if u are using the VS.NET, have u tried recompiling the whole project ? You also have to compile the usercontrol itself, for the changes to take place. good luck.Bilal Hadiar, MCP, MCTS, MCPD, MCTMicrosoft MVP - Telerik MVP...
