B2G build creating "desktop" build

I'm building gecko on OSX 10.9.5 for a flame. My workflow is:

../config.sh flame-kk
../build.sh gecko
../flash.sh gecko

The build succeeds yet the flame doesn't boot up after I flash. I noticed t=
he build produces a 'b2g-bin' file dist/b2g. My understanding is this shoul=
d only be produced for desktop builds. I believe the fact that this file is=
produced is the source of the startup errors.

My .userconfig is:

export MOZ_PROFILING=3D1
export DEVICE_DEBUG=3D1
export GECKO_PATH=3D/Volumes/firefoxos/sandbox/mozilla/B2G/gecko

Any help/hints are appreciated.

xpcshell "not found" blocking B2G Desktop and QEMU builds
I got stuck in a error I don't know how to solve it. I got a new PC and installed Linux 12.04, only to install B2G Desktop and emulator via QEMU. In both build process I get an error saying "./xulrunner/xpcshell not found". The file is there, and even if I chmod it to 777 it will return "not found". This error blocks process to build Gaia or to install B2G via QEMU (maybe when it's build gaia too). I not finding any solution via searches or friends. Thanks, Leo ...

Where are "b2g-bin" and Gaia's profile located in Pandaboard's B2G build?
Hi fellow citizens of the free software world, For the B2G desktop build, we can pass arguments to "b2g-bin" to run B2G with a specific resolution or to run specific apps. However I can't find either "b2g-bin" or the Gaia profile directory on the Pandaboard's B2G build. What can we do to get access to "b2G-bin" on the Pandaboard? Or is there any alternative way of passing arguments to B2G? Many thanks for reading, and much appreciated in advance for replying, Hugh ...

Option "Auto Generate Build number" replaces "Auto Increment Build number"?
In Project Options, Version Info I usually tick "Include Version Info in project", and then tick "Auto increment Build Number". This worked in my last Delphi IDE (Delphi 2007). Having upgraded to Delphi XE2 "Auto Increment Build Number" has been replaced with "Auto Generate Build Number". This new choice seems to generate a long number ... not a number which appears useful to me in any way. Probably I haven't read some detailed explanation of the new feature which might be hidden away somewhere ;-). Can I get "Auto Increment Build Nu...

Script to perform a "Get latest", then a "Build", then a "Publish"
I frequently have to copy out of source safe, the latest version of some source code. Then perform a build and then a publish. The publish is published to a local directory where I then copy it out to a server. This is a bit of a hassle to have to do all of this mannualy. What I would prefer to do is to use some type of script that would do this. Does anyone know if this is possible? I can manage copying to the server. I just need a script that I could kick off to do the following. 1. Copy the latest source code for the project out of source safe. 2. Perform a build of the projec...

D2007: discrepancies between "building" and "compiling"
I'm running RAD Studio 2007. Until recently, I was unaware of any difference between "building" (Shift+F9) and "compiling" (Ctrl+F9), other than the nature of recompiling everything when you build, instead of some things. However, after some recent changes to some of our unit test code by a contractor, I now find that "building" the unit tests results in an executable that always runs in GUI mode, regardless of the project settings. "compiling" yields an executable that behaves as expected, honoring the CONSOLE_TESTRUNNER flag, when set. Any ...

question about "new" and "free" on b2g
Hi, I'm currently trying to write some small source codes for b2g by using C++. During development I faced a problem like following. - create android::GraphicBuffer objects within gecko's code. this succeeded as normally. - then, when the GraphicBuffer objects are freed(reference count decreased to zero), data abort happened often. the data abort almost alwalys emit following logs. > F/libc ( 41): @@@ ABORTING: INVALID HEAP ADDRESS IN dlfree > F/libc ( 41): Fatal signal 11 (SIGSEGV) at 0xdeadbaad (code=1) > I/DEBUG ( 34): debuggerd committing su...

thunderbird release build error: after building current "hg://releases/comm-release" mach swears that no "dist/bin/thunderbird.exe exist"
Hello guys, please help to explain this gorgeous error message. I'm building releases/comm-release, using 'mach' ofcourse. Right after the message "your build is finished successfully", it unexpectedly tells: "Error running mach.... consider filling bug... Exception: Binary expected "OBJ_DIR/dist/bin/thunderbird.exe" doesn't exist" Correct binaries are in fact placed under mozilla binaries "OBJ_DIR/mozilla/dist/bin/thunderbird.exe" The whole piece of log is below: -----------build.log------------- Single process terminated ...

Latest "trustable" build after build 444
Can anyone give me the latest "trustable" build number after build 444? Also the ODBC-problem (odbc version > 3.5) must be solved in this build. Where can i find this build? Thanks, Odon "Trustable" is a fairly subjective term. The most tested release in Sybase's cycle are maintenance releases. The last maintenance release is 6.5.01 (build 620), which is available on the Sybase web site. When checking the patches, make sure the Timeframe field is "All" and you press "Go" before drilling down into the PowerBuilder patches. It...

Package building: "Explicit" vs "As Needed"
Hello, I'm using XE2 now and was having some problems regarding the "Rebuild as needed" option of an older package I created. I've changes the option from "Rebuild as needed" to "Explicit rebuild". But doing this I was wondering what the advantage would be of using the "Rebuild as needed" option? I cannot find anything regarding this in the Delphi help (which is from my point of view a mess regarding to the Delphi 6 helpfile). -- Regards, Ronald Hoek Application Developer ComponentAgro B.V. I say "build", PowerBuilder says "nah"
I'm trying to deploy a project for use in Jaguar. I've done it a hundred times... I open the project, change some properties, click the "build" button, and all goes smoothly. Sometimes. Other times everything looks good - it deploys fine, I see a new Cx folder in the Jaguar repository with a new pbd file as usual... but Jaguar can't find it. Jaguar says ERROR: OBJECT_NOT_EXIST in it's log, and that's that. What's also disturbing (but not surprising) is that I can delete that folder and the OS doesn't complain... Jaguar is *not* using the pbd I ...

"Error Creating Control" After Build
I am experiencing an annoyance I hope someone can help alleviate.  After I compile an assembly that contains a web control, the web forms designer gives an error creating the control and I have to restart Visual Studio to regain design-time support.  It is some versioning problem and I assume I have to clear some assembly cache in order to fix it.  This will avoid the constant restarts, which gets on my nerves fast. I have two projects...a web site using my local file system and a class library that contains a web control.  The web site references the control library usi...
