Unified Folder -- entires disappearing

With this version:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/29.0a2
Application Build ID 20140307004003

showing the Unified Folder and moving the cursor over the message list,
the message titles are disappearing. That's for Inbox, Draft, Template,
Archives (Don't have Junk and Trash at the moment).

Know issue?

I don't think so, please file a bug with steps to reproduce.
(Casual testing doesn't show any problem for me.)

No magic, just used View --> Folders --> Unified
and I get that situation.
Also disabling all add-ons doesn't change .. message titles are
disappearing as described above.

One errorlog (I only saw it after that intensive testing with "Restart
with Add-ons Disabled):
Each time I select the "unified" Inbox on the Folders I get:
> Fehler: NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE: Component returned failure code: 0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE) [nsIMsgDBView.open]

Interesting using another profile seems to be OK. So maybe I have to
"repair" the message data base? Just "Repair Folder" each individual
Inbox doesn't solve the situation.

Any further advice?

OK, finally the only way to solve this .. the 'last' solution: new
profile definition :(
Maybe a good springtime cleaning also ;)

After my last positive report I have to restate:
It' NOT working, after defining a new profile the situation is back!

With selecting eg. the unified folder for "Inbox" and moving the cursor
over the listing of the messages, the rows the cursor is moving over
disappear!

With that the console throws:
> Timestamp: 02.04.2014 18:23:19
> Error: NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE: Component returned failure code: 0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE) [nsIMsgDBView.open]

Any further idea about this?

Correction:
The error is already thrown at the moment the unified "Inbox" (or
"Draft") is selected!

But, I can't get them to display. I've tried everything I can think of or have found under Options and View. Any help most appreciated! I'm at a loss. TIA Roy (I apologize for the 2nd post. disappearing folders from Application Folder
Wondering if anyone is experiencing the following: We are running 6.x, Zen 4 (up to IR4 everywhere), using ConsoleOne 1.3.6 to administer. Our application objects we have launching via application folders on the Start menu. Users can see all of the various folders that we have created under our Application Folder, however when we create new application objects and associate this object with a link folder that already exists and shows up on the "Start Menu"..the folder doesn't appear. We know it is "there" because users are using app objects from it. ...

Unable to browse to .thunderbird folder from Thunderbird
New install Thunderbird, Fedora 22, Linux I put my email notification .wav file in the .thunderbird folder but when I browse to it the folder is not visible. I have my system preferences set to show hidden files and folders and the rest of them are ok. Is there a config setting to fix that? Thunderbird is the only place I have that problem. My previous install in Fedora 20 worked fine. I've gone through all the preferences and either I missed a setting or there is nothing to fix it. Thunderbird thinks my local folder inbox is a drafts folder
I'm using Thunderbird 3.0.4 on Windows Vista SP2 64-bit, but I've seemingly had this problem for a while. Thunderbird thinks my local folder inbox is a drafts folder for some reason, so whenever I view a message it has one of those "Edit this draft" buttons. If I double-click it it doesn't open in a tab; it opens in an edit window. It's also showing up in my Drafts Smart Folder. Is there anything I can open up and edit to make TB stop treating my inbox as a drafts folder? DarkeSword wrote: > I'm using Thunderbird 3.0.4 on Windows Vista SP2 64-b...
