...[ANNOUNCE] l10n-mozilla-2.0 open for business for SeaMonkey 2.1, and Firefox 4.0.1
the http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n-mozilla-2.0/ repositories are
now open for business.
Please land everything you want to ship in SeaMonkey 2.1 and Firefox
4.0.1 on that repository.
Probably something similar applies for Thunderbird.
SeaMonkey 2.1 should be good for sign-offs, I'll wrap up Firefox 4.0x
tomorrow when I'm awake.
I did not go into the business of mass porting content from central to
2.0, so please make sure that you really have the contents in that
repository that you're looking for.

I will switch a computer from windows to linux and from Seamonkey 2.6.1
to Seamonkey 2.4.1 (I don't know why Ubuntu only have 2.6.1 on Precise
I think there no big differences between these two releases that will
bring bug into profile. Am I false?
On my computer I directly use Seamonkey from Mozilla, on that computer I
don't want to have work, so I only keep Ubuntu repositories.
Sorry for possible mistakes in English!

I got those traps when trying to 'Edit as new'(?) a previous sent mail and
wanted to change the language via right click in subject line. Was reproduce
able a few times but now it works. Maybe I tried to fast switching spell checker?

...SeaMonkey 1.1.18 vs SeaMonkey 2.1 (if/when 2.1 is released)
I will clearly state that I am not a computer whiz...thus, I have a
number of concerns regarding SeaMonkey 2.0 installation on my system.
I have been reading the many SeaMonkey 2.0 messages on this newsgroup
with some concern about my ability to fix the problems that could occur
with the installation of 2.0. It seems that the move from 1.1.18 to 2.0
is not happening without a number of glitches along the way. Thus, in
light of what I have read, I am wondering if it would wise for me to
wait for a future release of SeaMonkey before upgrading my system...I
suppose I am hoping tha...Mozilla work like it did at 1.2/1.4 #2
Mozilla seems to be slowly getting lost.
At 1.2 and 1.4 things were fairly normal, but 1.5 seems to have become
another "9th Circus Court".
Very strange rendoring of links, going to a new site has become a mess
and other strange misc effects.

...fonts in Mozilla 1.4 (vs Mozilla 1.2)
I have a Linux machine, runing Red Hat 9.0 derivative. It came with
Mozilla 1.2. When I've tried to install and run Mozilla 1.4, all fonts
looked really ugly. I've checked the font settings. MOzilla 1.2 has
the option 'system defaults' which is what being used, with a very
nice result. Mozilla 1.4 does not have this option, instead it gives a
very large menu of fonts I have to choose -- and I did try with no
luck. Would appreciate any information how I can tell Mozilla 1.4 to
use 'system default fonts' apparently used by Mozilla 1.2
