Have tried to search the web before posting here? Here are my results

pMiniPACS @ http://sourceforge.net/projects/pminipacs/
ezDICOM @ http://sourceforge.net/projects/ezdicom/
Dicom Widow @ http://sourceforge.net/projects/dicomwidow/

DISCLAIMER..

I do not use DICOM or have any interest in using it for the near future, you
have to evaluate them but I think that ezDICOM is the oldest and more stable of
all of them.

regards
Jo

Indy 9.x has an HL7 component that works pretty good for me. It's not in
Indy 10.x however. We use the ImageEn components from hicomponents.com for
DiCiom.

How did you get on?

I have a requirement to use the DICOM standard to communicate between
existing modalities and a RIS database.

I am writing the bit the listens for requests for worklists from the
modalities and queries the RIS database to get this information.

I hav eno idea where to start. Most of DICOM is about shunting images
about etc, so this is a tiny subset of that. I am looking for a decent
component set / code lib / docs etc to write the listener etc.

I have done the google search, but there is so much "wood for trees".
Anyone done this?

Any ideas?

Yes, have looked at it, but it, like a lot of the DICOM tools /
components seem centred around the viewing of images etc.

We are looking at its examples at the moment.

For us it is just the work lists for modalities, which seems like a
very small subset.

LEADTOOLS does have the ability for viewing the images, but we also have full support for the Dicom 2008 standard, including all of the communication such as CFind, CStore, MWL, etc. We don't have any VCL components, but we do have a CDLL interface for which we've created function definitions which can be used within a Delphi environment (check the Uses subdirectory where LEADTOOLS is installed).

If you have specific questions related to LEADTOOLS, you can contact us for free via email, forums, chat. For more info on our support as well as links to our forums, email address, and chat support portal, please check out http://www.leadtools.com/support/support-options.htm.

Is there a PDF viewer component installed with any version of Delphi ? [Edit]
Hi, I am looking for a component to display PDF files within my app. I don't need any editing capability, only displaying them like Adobe Reader does. I am using BDS 2006, I searched in the help file for PDF but did not find something that looked like a component for PDF viewing, so I was wondering if one is included and otherwise if one is available. Searching the net, I read that there is some sort of interface to the PDF reader dll used by Acrobat Reader. Having access to the dll would require Acrobat Reader to be installed - and that would be fine - but I could not find any...

How to fix the position of the component tool bar in Delphi 2010 ? [Edit]
Hello, How is it possible to fix the position of the component tool bar in Delphi 2010 ? Each time that I start Delphi 2010, the component tool bar is located on the right side of the menu + icons bar. So, I need to move it below the icons bar in order to see all the components of each page. I stored the IDE GUI configuration but the position of the component tool bar is not stored. Component toolbar in Delphi XE4 missing tabs and components

It seemed to work fine and I could create a VCL test app for both Delphi and C++Builder with one of the components dropped on a form. But now I am investigating this further and I find that a lot of components are missing.. :-( I managed to get the components displayed as a tabbed ribbon across the top similar to in Delphi7 by going to View/Toolbars/Components. Then I could also drag it to a place on the screen where it could use the full width of the IDE. I then...
