Install 1.0 and 1.1 side-by-side and use the 1.1 csc to compile a 1.0
Hi,
I have the following (tricky) questions:
1. Can I install the 1.0 and 1.1 .NET Framework side-by-side with NO drawbacks on MY PC where I develop the .NET applications? (I do NOT use VS.NET)
2. After installing the 1.1 version, am I STILL ABLE to compile a 1.0 version, since our
production web-server still runs on 1.0 (our development web-server was upgraded to 1.1) ??
thx

Running 1.0 code on 2003 w/ 1.1 and 2.0 installed
Hi, I'm very new to asp.net. I tried to teach myself asp.net a long time ago and made a few apps. But now they won't run on my new machine. I have .net 1.1 and 2.0 installed. I'm also using a 2003 VS Pro (2002 VS AA back then). Now it seems that the web application is having troubles running. My question is: is VS Pro 2003 w/ both .net frameworks backwards compatible? If not, can i simply just uninstall 2.0 to get my app (1.0) to run? Thanks in ...
SeaMonkey 1.0.1 and Firefox 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 version can be said to be a same at code levelDear,
I am pursuing my research in the field of sotware maintainence at
preventive level. i had published some of my research paper in ACM SIGSOFT
SEN. As per my research i designed the metrics model for smelly classes
with the help of firefox three versions and then i had validated or tested
the metrics model with the one version of SeaMonkey.
I got the review upon my research that SeaMonkey and Firefox are same at
the code level. These cannot be treated as two different data set. But what
i had read is they both only usage the same Gecko engine from your website.

Crystal Report on Framework 1.1 and 3.0
We have an asp.net 1.1 application which we recently migrated to ASP.Net 2.0 . There are several crystal reports in the application.
We have hosted both the 1.1 and 2.0 on a Windows 2003 server. Both the applications work fine but only problem is reports in the 2.0 application are not opening.
But if the applications are deployed on a XP machine, reports in both 1.1 and 2.0 application work fine.

Sybase 11.5.1; Open Client 11.1.1; InterSolv/Sybase 10.0.4 ODBC; VB5; Crystal ReportsI have a client who is deploying a 16-bit VB application which continuously
gets GPF's in the Sybase open client libraries (WCOMNLIB, WTCLLIB, WCTLIB),
ODBC libraries (SYSYBW3),
and Crystal Reports libraries (DAO2516).
Problems do not occur unless client is switching back and forth between
multiple Crystal Report windows. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?
Client workstations have between 32MB and 64 MB ram.
