[ANN] Release of Bugzilla 3.0.10, 3.2.6, 3.4.5, and 3.5.3-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Today we have four new releases:
Bugzilla 3.4.5 is our latest stable release. It contains various
useful bug fixes and security improvements.
Bugzilla 3.2.6 is a security update for the 3.2 branch, and
Bugzilla 3.0.11 is a security update for the 3.0 branch.
Bugzilla 3.5.3 is our latest unstable development release. We are now
feature-frozen for 3.6, so though there will be a few functional
changes between now and the final release, this is mostly what 3.6
will look like when it comes out. As usual with development release...
ANN: ICARUS 3.5.3Find unnecessary units in Delphi uses lists
Peganza Software has released version 3.5.3 of ICARUS, a free Windows
program that helps Delphi developers remove
unnecessary units in uses lists. Removing unneeded units from the uses lists
gives many benefits, including the following:
- Unused code is not linked in. The Delphi linker removes unused code, but
code in initialization and finalization sections remains
- Removes dependencies on other units, and makes the intent of your code
clearer
- Smaller executable modules (EXE, DLL, BPL)
ICARUS can also tell which units that can...
[ANN] Security Advisory for Bugzilla 3.0.10, 3.2.5, 3.4.4, and 3.5.2-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Summary
=======
Bugzilla is a Web-based bug-tracking system, used by a large number of
software projects.
This advisory covers two security issues that have recently been
fixed in the Bugzilla code:
+ Some files stored on the web server are not correctly protected
against external access and can be viewed from a web browser.
+ Restricting a bug to a group while moving the bug to another product
has no effect if the group is not used by both products. The bug may
become public if no other group restriction applies.

Product: Firefox
Summary: Upgrade from 3.5.3 to 3.5.5
Comments:
Upgrade manager automatically upgraded from 3.5.3 to 3.5.5 on my AMD64
system using Ubuntu 9.10. The browser worked fine in its 3.5.3
configuration. Now after the upgrade, links do not respond to mouse
clicks, my mouse scroll button doesn't work, browser locks up from time
to time. Home icon goes to Mozilla site even though I input and save
home as google. Preference goes blank when browser is open, the system
is not usable now, and I have to figure out how to backup ...

Product: Firefox
Summary: 3.5/3.5.1/3.5.2
Comments:
Scrap this version as it is crap. Add-ons no longer work, including my
Norton security, web pages struggle to load. General loading of Firefox
has been tripled in load time. Takes up to much memory. Some web pages
do not work properly when they had worked before. Its rubbish - I went
back to 3.0.13. That at least works as Firefox should work. Chuck
version 3.5 in the bin and restart from 3.0.13 which is the last version
that works.

Delphi 3 and Refresh problem w/SQL Anywhere 5.5.3I'm using Delphi 3 and experiencing a problem with refreshing. If I
insert a new record using a dbGrid, the record disappears from the
dbGrid after the post. I've duplicated the problem using Database
Desktop. Has anyone experienced the same problem.
Also if I'm inserting a record into a table that has an autoincremental
field, after the post two records show up(a record without a value for
the incremented field and one with a value in the autoincremented
filed).
My work around is to issue a table refresh. (can cause performance
hits)
I think the ODBC is not prop...

Creating report using QuickReport 3 for Delphi 5Hello,
Please can you handle this project and how much will it cost?
I will like to build reports using QuickReport 3 for Delphi 5.
I will like to print both the graphics (i.e. images of *.jpg or *.bmp) and the text-contents, by a Click-event
of a button from the MainForm.
Furthermore I will be linking the QuickReport's form, here named "unit Rptsub" to the MainForm to acquire
vales form Global variables, to be inserted into text-contents.
The text-contents may incorporate, say,

Converting Delphi 2007 Indy 10.2.3 to Delphi 2009 Indy 10.5.5 [Edit]Hello,
I am currently attempting to port over a Delphi 2007 project that uses Indy 10.2.3 (very successfully) to Delphi 2009 and Indy 10.5.5 (I just got the latest development build this morning). I think I am running into an encoding issue, but am not sure. Specifically, IDHTTP with SSL calls an old CGI and the CGI returns a .zip file and I then save it to the disk. In 2007 and before this worked perfectly. In 2009, it is not. Here is the examples of the 2 different results (though cut way short in the post) I
am getting back:
2007:
